The Elven Community: Eldamar

Greetings Elves of the Elven Community!
As you may notice. there have been some recent changes to our beloved Community. Eldamar, is now the specific elven name for the Community. It's meaning is "ElvenHome" in Common. The second matter that we would like to bring to your attention is the current change in the leadership of the Community. As you know, in the beginning there were three elves that lead, but unfortunately two have passed on to another realm due to uncontrollable circumstances. Dark times followed those passings for our Community. With the help of Elaralith and Lanthromire, the Community was steered towards the Light once again. For that reason, they have been chosen as Elders alongside Kalypse to guarantee that our Community will grow and propser for Eternity. Three Elders once again there are now: Elaralith, Kalypse, and Lanthromire. The Voice with which annoucements will be brought to you will be "The Elder's of Eldamar" and no other. Please do not heed other frauds that may come up. Further good changes are guaranteed to you, by us. You can be assured that they will be revealed to you, and be open for discussion when the time is right! That is all for now.

Now that Kaly and Lan seem to have vanished from our land, Elaralith the Elven within me wonders, is the Community still on it's feet?

The Elves endure as they have for eons past counting. Thus the Community endures. Unlike other peoples, we Elves are peaceful, silent, and observant above all else. Never do we true Elves openly declare ourselves in pride like so many others who have done so to their doom. The passing thought may be all that one will get of an Elf who has gone past beneath that one's nose. The Community's roots are deep and the tree grows ever unnoticed; we are alive and active though not all know it.

Greetings dear elves and friends,
Even though I should just be happy for seeing this land once more, I am here to inform you of unfortunate news. I'll cut right to the point however... As everybody knows, Elaralith has been having some problems as of late. Her mind is now full of many different problems and is very fragile because of the constant arguments and verbal and physical attacks, both given by her on others and received by her from others. I am aware of her flaws, but we all have our own flaws but must overcome these, but seemingly she is getting far too little help and is unable to deal with the pressures her life entails as well as dealing with her own problems. For this reason we are relieving her of some of these responsibilities so she can have more time to work on her personal problems with herself and others. We, the remaining Elders of Eldamar have taken this action in removing her of her rank of Elder to attempt to make up to all our good friends, inside and outside the community, who she has hurt with her recent actions as well as to provide her with more time and greater opportunity to heal herself and hopefully return to her previous self.
The problem is that our sister Elaralith for problems I am not aware of, and probably because some fault of my own, was doubting the importance of love in our lives some time ago, which I have heard is no longer true and I hope that is correct. Our sister, however, is passing through a time of disturbances and has become a little unstable.. which is also partly my fault. I met Elaralith as a great and trustworthy friend, but I suppose I gave her far too many responsibilities by asking her to be an Elder. I have made a difficult decision with the help of my beloved Lanthromire and consulting many different people on their thoughts and experiences... many wise ones included. Elaralith is now free of the responsibilities of being an elder of our community and is now able to solve her own matters without having outside issues to deal with. I will do my best to help her with anything that I am able to, if she allows me...
We will keep her as part of our community because we believe she still has a good heart beating deep in her. I ask to all to try and help her wisely whenever it is possible and avoiding as much conflict as possible. We will take more sever actions, however, if she does not show interest on healing herself and does not remember the base of all our community, which is love, respect and understanding. Listening to others is a great part of life.

Elaralith sends her old friend Kalypse a letter by dove that reads:
Dear Kalypse,
Thank you for seeing some difficulties I have had, and taking action to help me. I appreciate more than you can know now that I have had a change of heart...but I wish to share with you some news of great joy to me...I have been the fortunate one of a vision from Elara, she who is wisest of all, and through her touch my life has now taken a turn. I wish to say no more, and let my future actions speak for me. Again, thank you for helping me out in this way. Elara willing, perhaps in the future I may yet be able to take up these responsibilities again...for now though though I have gone through a miraculous transformation I think that I need some more time to live as I once did again. Elara shine kindly down upon you.
Your sister in spirit,
~Elaralith~

Greetings all elves and friends,
We are pleased to announce that we now have a new friend to walk with us on our journey. We welcome Lenti with the bottom of our hearts, to this place of friendship. There was today a small party in celebration for this event and it was quite interesting for the little time it lasted. I am looking forward to do that again soon for other happy reasons.
Be safe you all and may your days be filled with joy.

It is my pleasure to see another interested elf to be part of our family. I just felt that it's my duty to inform you above anything else that this is not meant to be a guild on the common meaning of the word. This is a community, a family, and as such we try our bests to help each other and be honest friends especially in times of need. I will send you a dove for whatever you need from me, Armil. Please search for me or Lanthromire in town...
May all your days be filled with joy, my good friends.

I understand that it isn't a guild I was interested in it because, i dont want to be involved with guild rivalires and restrictions, but I wanted to contribute and help a group, and what better way, then with your own kind.

Well, I suggest you give a thought over your concepts of restrictions. I don't know how you think about it, but here is my thought... we do not have restrictions in the meaning of hierarchy and such, but we do have our limits as every living creature has theirs. We are a community and we should think at ourselves as part of one, instead of an individual. All our actions reflect into other people's lives and we should be aware of that, just as other people's actions reflect on our reactions sometimes. Our 'restrictions' are basically to respect and love each other like you would to yourself, because whether you want it or not they are part of your life as well.. a necessary part of your life which you cannot control but that will affect the ones you can. We live inside our own boundaries, and if we need to reach other's limits we should measure our words and actions so we don't trespass it and hurt their feelings, if not something more serious...
Anyway, this is just the way I see things..

Well, I guess I want to join the guild, I might not be in the town for a few days though because of me being very buisy (I have to fix a persons computer, almost done though.) Anyways I meant restrictions, like one of the guilds mandates your selling prices or used to. Guild fell. Anyways I want to join as soon as I can. And If the guild has some goals that require funding I'm willing to give a few ingots for anything.

Hello Fellow Elven Brothers and Sisters,
I come here to ask for a place to call a home. I wish to join your community as I understand what has been going on as of late. I feel that a dark presence has been driving his entity into my mind to cause terrible things. I come here to seek rufuge, and if it forbides some peace of mind as I feel mentally exhausted. I shall be back to hear your answer, hopefully a rewarding one. Farewell~
Friely~

Greetings Friely,
By your writings I don't believe there will be any restrictions as for you to join, however, I would very much appreciate if you could search for me... I find very important to know all who are part of the community and ask them a few questions. It always helps me creating a community environment as it should be, so I can introduce them to each other. I hope to see you soon.. if not, Id like to hear more about you if you could take the time to write it.
Be safe, my friend.

The lady Kalpse has much to do and is caught up in quite a busy state at the time, please be patient as I know when she is able she will hear you out.
And most wise and honourable lady Kalypse I belive this Friely to be a follower of Moshran as he proudly seems to state that here and there and so I do not see it would be a good choice to let him into the community. Just to make thee aware of if the decision is thine to make of course.

((I just saw a message on my inbox and it was only because I had the email option on, so I got the warning on email that I had one. I havent been checking this in quite a while.
The unfortunate news are, as I said to my friend brendan mason on a pm, that Illarion has just become too unbearable for me to play. It was really giving me headaches and along with my school work it was stressing me out in a way that my health was being compromised. It used to calm me down... good times those were... It may be just a game, but it was affecting me since I liked it and couldnt see it fall to ruins. I got tired though and I don't care. Those who got to know me better know that if I am saying that it's because it was serious. I deeply appologise to all of those that care... I like to help when I can, but if I hurt myself on the process too much I won't be able to anymore, right?
So.. some may ask.. what about the community? I say.. I tried my best.. if people's individuality were always above the group, why having the group then? I say.. I don't care anymore. I got tired of fighting for a lost cause. Sorry to those who believed... I believed once, but believing is not enough, neither were my efforts, so theres nothing else I could do.
When my computer got messed up I had time to think and I realized I was burning my head for nothing. Not even when we did accomplish something people reacted... it was always 'it wont work, it wont work'... with that thought, my dear friends.. it WONT work!! A couple of positive thoughts and actions cant overcome a world of bad thoughts and actions. It was always.. 'why should I do it if everybody does it wrong?'.. well, your neighbours wont change until you start at your own yard.. but its hard to keep living in that house if your neighbout didnt teach his dog not to ruin your flowers, right? You can only try for some time... if it doesnt work, better go find someone who at least understands and is willing to do something.
I'm sorry for the long babble... but this is my goodbye from any responsability in Illarion. If I ever come back it will be just passing.. for perhaps some quick passtime... I don't intend to put my heart on it anymore, it's too valuable for me to be wasted like that. Thank you for the good times.. those who remember them.. so long ago... I had some really good time once.))

(( I'm sorry to see you go Kalypse, you were one of the best, and it's a great loss, I'm sorry if I caused any of this, the comunity is degrading, I wish I could have come in early 2002, to have seen what it was like, when it was a better group of people.))
