I see sometimes when I start the client up that there have been alot of updates lately, can devs please give info on these updates? I would like to know about something just in case I screw up thinking it was a previous system =P.

The gameserver client (the one that does not show the selection of the server at the login screen) was not updated for a while. Updates to this client are always accompanied by a news post.

The development client is a nightly client. So its build when ever its needed. Those updates do not get news entries. How ever you can check in Jenkins when the client was created last.
