Carpenter use...only bough?

Not sure where to put this so decided to ask other crafters. So far in carpentry I haven't seen a use for branch anymore, just bough. Is the branch used for something else now or maybe more advanced carpentry?

You mean the stuf from the cherry trees? No they dont have any use in the moment.
The Carpenter Hammer that you can buy has also no use.

There is no graphic shown for holding a branch. Holding a bough shows a staff. You can hit using either bough or branch

There isn't a graphic for warhammers either. Sticks are the least of our worries.
