I would like to know how many of you remember the Great Battle of old. It was the Orcs against the men, elves, dwarves, and haflings. We were winning (the men). We had a great strategy. We built an underground fortress and were going to keep soldiers there until the orcs passed over us. Then we would attack them from both sides. Well, the treacherous haflings told the orcs our plans. They threw fire into our fortress and burned us alive. I was the only knight left of the Queen's Royal Knights. I wondered the world until i found this peaceful valley where I spend my days mining. Alas, though, i hold no grudges. Let it be known the history of our world.

Since when have halflings been treacherous?? I have never seen a halfling so eager to help either side in times of war...

yet another log cast into the fire that is going to be the first race war. Y must the orc be the bad force and why are the hobbits such treachous beast? We hobbits like farming and herblawing. Maybe you men would be the bad people since you are easily bought with gold and power....

Supposedly the haflings thought that giving the plans to the orcs would end the war quicker . Also, it is not my fault that the ocs are warmongering. You wanna know why the war started? The orcs were doing military excercises ON OUR LAND. Of course you would not care i lost all my land and family .

And thus since your human am I correct? You weren't around then....This must have happened over thousands of years ago and I know your not immortal....

When and where did this alledgedly happen? I can't find any record similiar to this at all, I don't believe this happened on our island.

No, it was on an island far away. I had to row here. I am lucky i landed here because there are thousands of other islands uncharted in these seas. I thank the gods for my good fortune.

You are insinuating that I, an elf, am young? Such a strange assumption. I shall admit, I am young for my kind, but I can guarantee I am much older than any human...

ive spoken to many orc and they arent warmongering... quite the opposite. They are pleasant to have around a fire at night. They tell delightful stories of their adventures battling zombees and such. They would never touch a hair on a hobbits foot

I'm afraid Orcs are a warrior race. There are peacefull Orcs but they are the exception and not the rule. The orcs were "Made with fire, and infused by the anger of their God".((http://www.moonsilver.de/english/history/concord.htm))

I believe that no race is purely evil, and humans can be bought for just as much gold as elves or dwarfs. The only difference is, evil humans are still called humans whereas evil elves are called drow and evil dwarfs duegar.

That is because most humans are evil. It is human nature. Why have different names for an evil race. Are there different names for an orc? Exactly.

i have a couple of things to say here first of all......it is entierly up to you if you like us orcs or not.......and secondly why bring up a war that happened many many years ago and not even on this island?

Okay, first of all, I shall reveal the truth. I was not at the battle . This is a story my grandfather told me before I left for these lands. I just thought that maybe you would enjoy the story, but not, you have to go and make a big deal out of everything! Thank you for ruining once beloved memories.

paul, taht was propaganda. You humans were the aggressors on that foreign land! You attacked the orc, and halfing populations in an attempt to have full control of the Continent.

If you wish to bring this history up and countinue to nag against the orcs, you shall be joining your family... Think before you speak of any orc in such a way... And anyway, you tell the story wrong...
