Reformed Council Nominations

Now that the new charter has been approved we will be reforming the government as a three member council. Given my extensive absence on the mainland this will resolve any need for a recall of the governor position. A total of three individuals will eventually be selected with one being the "head of council," who will act in a similar manner to the former governor position. One can either A) nominate themselves or B) accept the nomination of another (either publicly here or in a letter to me). Nominations are only vague right now, there are no separate nominations for "head of council". Nominees must be on the citizen list.
Nominations will last 5 dwarven days ((ending January 7th)). Once that has been completed there will be three days where the nominees can do whatever they wish, followed by three days of voting with the help of a neutral vote counter (it will not be me).
Nominees:
Oxiana
Juliette Benoit
Uhuru
S'rrt
Tirrend
Kyre

The list is updated.
Except for Tirrend's name, because that couldn't have been a serious proposal.

I am yet to meet you but you seem resolute in your interest in the town, it would be good to hear more of your ideas.

On behalf of Glubnar the greatest King Protector of all time, and the one called Oxi I have not met but admire the thoughtful parchments placed on this board, I will accept the nomination of council and promise not to place a hex on any other worthy opponents.
For now.
Kyre
There is a very small bit of parchment added at the bottom which remains unsigned so it is unsure who exactly added it.
Except possibly for Tirrend

All votes will be sent to Brer Beothach ((

And the corruption multiplies, Utilizing the spouse of Oxiana's and Leon's best friend, housemate, and sister, for counting the votes, will hardly support a claim for an unbiased election.
I stand on my charge of power broker moves to cast aside all citizen gains, the sacrifices of Kaiden Firestone, and the law; in favor of establishing a dictatorial regime where everyone but Oxiana and Leon will be puppets. Let lose the dogs.

I'm interested in hearing your suggestion for a truly neutral citizen, or perhaps an outsider, to count the votes.

A parchment suddenly appears underneath all the others as it is held onto the worn wood somehow with just a black feather.
Brer will be fair.

Kenfric,
Perhaps it would be more becoming of a man in your position to show the decorum Juliette has and let the public decide your fate. If you had, you would know I suggested Fooser should ask Lennier to count the votes. As it is I trust Brer implicitly to conduct himself honestly for the good of our Town.

Hello,
I asked Lennier first and he declined. But you may also know that Lennier voted in two elections past. I don't feel like looking but he may have voted for Oxiana for council. If you don't know what the point of what I'm saying is: this island is small, everyone has some connection to everyone else, no matter how insignificant it may seem.
If you think Brer is shilling either way for someone then you do not know Brer.

A sudden bolt of lightning lands and drops a single parchment near the board. The parchment floats to the others and somehow lands directly under all the rest.
Thank you people of Trolls Bane for your support. I think looking at the names of Oxiana as Head Council and Uhura as member along with mine, you have representatives that will do their best for the town. My consolation to those that ran this time and didn't win though any of the names I see would have been good.
