I am almost embarassed to be a Lizard. We hear these stories about heroic events and good deeds of other races, then I hear about Lizards snipering and stealing cabbages....is this really the fate for the Lizard race?

Well you could always be the one to change that image you know.

The thing that is wrong with doing it is someone else owns what you steal!

I know more then one halfling, and none of them is a thief. You are only obeying a false cliche.

When half-lings steal they give the whole race a bad name as people start to believe the stereo type......

but that is practically all we are good at. none of us hobbits are strong like dwarves or are natural fighters like orc or men. what else can we do?

Well i am a Half-ling and i know that there is plenty we are good at:
good druids, traders, (we can be good fighters ) , carpenters etc....

There is a certain well known halfling merchand who just showed that you can earn your own house just with buying and selling stuff.

we are good druids? perhaps i will pick up that skill... and save my true talent until this world is at war and then i shall steal from the enemy...

you only looking at the bad things about lizards, we can breath underwater, switch from cold to warm blooded at will, we have huge underwater cities, and our god is the only elder god left

The God and other abilities have nothing to do with it, it's the lizard's actions that are the problem

Those actions are the actions of single individuals. Those individuals exist in every race and, unluckily, will always exist.

This is mainly because only a minority of people belongs to the race of lizardman, and only the minority of those are speaking your tongue.
