Mac Problem

I can't use the description keys F2, F3, and so on. I'm sure its a long shot but are there other keys I use? Anybody know?

The 'save' ones are f2-f5 and shift f2 - f5.
What's wrong with your f keys? Certain modern manufacturers (most notably dell) have put the laptop shortcuts on the f keys, and you need to press the Function key to use them, not sure what apple does.

On my mac, in window mode, my function keys never work for Illarion functions.
In fullscreen mode, they work fine. Annoying, yes.

Try FN + F2, FN + F3, etc.

What exactly is the problem? Is it that you can't use ctrl+f2 to map a description to f2, or is it the recall? I would assume the former. Are you using the apple function button instead of ctrl?

Hej
go to the system settings -> keyboard and select "use keys F1, F2 ... etc. as standard keys"
than you have the same function like the windows standard keyboard, but than you have not longer the mac-functions.
