Ahh they were going to pay, they all were going to pay! Well, that's what was going through the Halflings mind as he bought bucket upon bucket of dye and paint. He had a plan, yes a plan! For every coating he got, the 'castle' would get twice the job, foolish humans, they messed with the wrong midget. Sure, he threw the paint over Athian first and sure, he did paint everyone who tried to revel this little nugget of truth, but the house must pay! Nasty place, big walls and no food for a hungry Halfer who had only had three lunches before stepping inside it's hallowed walls.

As he approached Garon's old home, he looked over his shoulder, to the side of his shoulder and yes, under his shoulder (don't ask). With the feeling he was quite alone in the darkness he began to paint the doors, first a big blob of red on the right door, then a big blob of green on the left side. He quickly pulled out a paint brush and started to even out his master piece, all the whilse singing:

"Oh there's nothing worse than a Halfer gone completely mad o' yes! There's nothing worse than a Halfer gone completely mad o' yes! O' there ain't nothing worse, even though tha' honest ones will steal yer purse, there ain't nothing worse than a Halfer gone completely mad o' yes!"

As he finished the door, he snigger's to himself as he pulled out many'a yellow bucket and blue bucket. Time to go round the house he thought to himself. He quickly decided to put the yellow on the left and the blue on the right. It took hour upon hour until he finished it . Nargun only knows how he wasn't caught... or was he?

Standing near an apple tree fairly well hidden in the dark from Garon's old house by it's trunk, Kyre watches the halfling as he paints. First a look of puzzlement crosses her features until he begins to sing then she grins as dark eyes lighten with merriment. Curious how far he would go, she continues her watch, occasionally leaning against the trunk then reaching to pull an apple down taking a bite now and then. Gradually focusing on his actions and what little she can hear before deciding on a plan, she throws the apple core down and walks toward him giving a chuckle announcing her presence.

Greetings Jimmy, you look busy.

Humming the tune to the song which he was singing, at the sound of a voice the Halfling jumps around. at the same time, the big bucket of blue paint which he was holding aloft flies up into the air. Before the Halfer can barely say "Who.." the bucket lands on his head, quickly dousing all his clothing in a ocean blue coloring and of course, taking away his ability to see. Cursing several times over at first, the Halfer finally pulls the bucket of his head and rubs his eyes for surely he would be seeing blue for a good while had he not gave them a good rubbing.

Slowly he peels his hands away from his colored face to look up at the 'intruder'. For a moment the words "This w'ittle fecker will pay.." were all that went through his head before he recognized the voice and those thoughts were replaced by one word "Scheiße..". Under the impression he might be in trouble for throwing certain flaming bottles around the town, pouncing people here and there or just generally in for a telling off from someone in charge, he went quickly to work.

"Ya see these vandals!? Wee feckers tha' lot o' them! Swear, there be 'bout twenty o' them... aye tha's it... twenty o' them! Just 'bout killed my w'ittle ol' self protecting this marvelous building. Oh 'ow I miss those blank walls. Tha' pain, tha' pain o' it all!"

Seeming rather pleased with his 'brilliant' acting, the Halfer stood there, waiting to see if he had done enough to worm his way out of whatever might befall him.

By the time the halfling had rubbed enough blue paint out of his eyes to see again, Kyre's face was again composed and a warm breeze slowly settled as a few stray leaves fluttered toward the river while any drop of spattered paint curiously remained two feet from her position leaving her paint free. With one gloved hand laying still at her side, she waited for him to finish speaking before dark eyes turned to the building.

A shame actually, the combination is really quite interesting yet I don't think that is what the owner intended.

Sighing before turning back to the halfling, Kyre pauses, her eyes looking squarely into his before becoming distracted watching the blue paint slowly drip to the ground. Giving a brief cough she finally speaks again.

I see you are quite bl..uh sad to view this old building in such a state so I have an idea.

Raising her hand she points in front of him speaking some ancient words softly as a few dishes appear on the ground amid the splatters of paint.

Perhaps you can wash up at the river, find something on one of those plates you like, then we can talk while you continue to clean the building up...I'll make sure those vandals don't return.

Seredoc listens quietly for a second, the paint on his braided hairslowly dripping down the back of his old worn out robe until it becomes unbearable and he runs down to the water as the Women suggested. Barely missing the conjured plates he finds himself at the edge of a the stream, without a seconds thought he throws away his paint covered clothes and dives in - Much like a Lizard man, if one was ever so short and hairy -. For ten, perhaps fifth-teen minutes the Halfling just sits there, rubbing the paint out of ever nock and crannie with the fresh water.

A further ten minutes are used to clean the clothes, so that when the Halfer reappears he is looking rather drenched and wet (well, wet might be an understatement). As he returns his thoughts go directly back to the plates which were conjured. Without thinking, he dives on them all. Not that he is eatting all the food, but more, he is simpling each plate so that by the time he stops, each has exactly a quarter of it's original contents missing from each one.

"Now. Who said anything 'bout cleaning lassie? *the Halfer says this with a smile, perhaps one would notice him trying to use what little charm he can muster* I was merely trying ta' clean aff some bad work these local thugs had left. Better ta' paint 'ere it than leave wouldn't ya say?"

A grin growing on her face the more the halfling speaks, Kyre finally raises her wand as a glint of mischief is seen in her eyes by the pale moonlight.

Jimmy or whatever your name is, perhaps it would better serve the town if I sent you to Varshikar.
