A headache bearing down on him from the recent events with Verashnia the wraith, Dyluck decides to sit down and think about what he's learned about its story thus far from talking to it and looking at texts in the library.

Verashnia....a necromancer from eons ago, a time when the world she ruled was different from the one we know. Her powers drew the king of demons, Ashkattul, who defeated her and made her into the wraith that she is now today. With the aid of her powers, she remained this way in the realm of the living for eons, gathering power fand gaining the loyalty of stray demons for the day to take revenge on Ashkatuul.

One day her demon general lost an important icebird amulet in our fair town, and now she seeks to find her amulet, doing whatever it takes, be it taking the lives of our town. After much persuation, the ones holding the amulet have agreed to give it up, but now the one entrusted to deliver the amulet has disappeared. What fate could have befallen him?

Verashnia promises to leave the town in peace after the amulet is returned, and even defeat Ashkatuul, but can she be trusted?
Will she and can she really defeated the combined powers of Ashkatuul who is backed by his master, Drakhen Vorkalion?
How long will she wait for the amulet to be returned before there are more casualties?

Now, the people hold their breath as they await the news of the one bearing the amulet to return.....

After long chased by men of greed who would take the amulet from the bearer, he has returned safetly at last and has gone to fulfill his mission.

The bearer has made his deilvery of the amulet to Verashnia to her satisfaction, but in a thundering display the wraith promises to return again soon, with avengence.....

Has Verashnia lied about her promises?

The town bustles with activity as it prepares its defences and awaits its fate......

The amulett was given to her over Veralion? How foolish to give it to someone who would take the lives of the innocent!

And why should Veralion be given this cursed charm?

What has happened here is a result of complete lack of any true knowledge...otherwise known as a guess. Verashnia obviously was not telling the complete truth, yet there was more than likely some truth behind it. Veralion on the other hand, would not reveal ANYTHING towards what he could do or how in the world he could stop anything like the treachery that has occurred...all we really knew was that Veralion had been possessed by a demon, and that the demon had taken control several times in the past. It is hardly just to point fingers at ANYONE, as clearly the fingers should only point to ourselves. There is not alot one can do when they have little or no knowledge of either side of an argument. All we can do is sit and wait, keeping hope alive and our defenses on the rise.
