5 character slots
Why limit the characters you can have to only 5?
I myself have 5 characters that I do not want to delete, seeing all the RP and all the hours I have put on developing their RP, and one of them skills.
I have deleted about 5 characters earlier to make room for other ones, I was bored of all five I had ATM and decided to make a new one.
I wish I still had the characters I deleted, yet still have the new ones which I love to RP with.
So, summary, at one point when you have made and played 5 characters for a while you do get bored. What to do then; delete a loved character to make a new one or quit? So why limit it to 5? ((Please don't reply with the 10 characters with membership thing, some don't have the option to do that))

You can have more than one character because it was decided that one character only tends to become boring and people like variety.
You cannot have more than five (seven) characters because it was decided that people should focus on a limited number of characters instead of a vast number of rarely played characters.
Five was the number that was considered reasonable.

Also, 5 slots shouldn't be a problem, Yeah sure you think d'awww I don't wanna delete but the fact is you never ever log into said characters for more than 5 minuites.
