Jaiyra lights up the Seahorse according to her usual habit and frightens a rat hiding in the dark. She grabs a broom from the corner and chases it out, looking around to make sure no customers saw it. As it flees, a slip of parchment drops away from it. She takes the parchment in hand, her eyes wide as she reads it.
