Unrelated question: What is essence for really? Heard it has to do with magic and magic resistance. What is dexterity for exactly? I know it has something to do with crafting and can give you more crafting options.

You can 'build' with it in a way. You can ask the builder to make stuff for you - and you'll need stone to do so in many cases. However the builder is inactive at the moment, and because of the vbu all the mappers are taken - so wait.

What you CAN do is chisel it in order to get pebbles - which are useful if you have a sling.

Essence is used by mages, it determines how much mana you have.

Dexterity is a measure of how good your fingers work - crafters need it - it gives you more 'crafting skill' in a way.
