Triple request

Hello, if any people with any ability to change the game itself, or anyone else for that matter are reading this I would like to propose three things:
1. Being able to put things on tables would make trading and dining a lot more realistic, and look better.
2. Some way of being able to understand all the spells, any mages here know just how annoying being able to cast all but two spells is.
3.Some kind of on going story to be implemented such as the quest for a lost sword or some evil wizard doing things, so that adventurers could go on a quest that might actually go somewhere, this could be linked in with town attacks and rumours being spread.
Thank you for your time, I hope theese requests will have some impact and open the game up to a whole new world.

Even though I'm just a common player like you.
1. Nice idea as such. However I don't know how much work this would be for the programmers.
2. I don't think there will ever be a way. From what I understood this system was just implemented because of too many master mages running around misusing their abilities. But you can live with it. My char for example is only able to cast some basic spells. But I used it for my RP and am quite happy with it.
3. There are quite few complex quests from GM side right now, yes. This hat been different in the past but I think they just got annoyed by certain characters who do nothing but destroying the gaming experience of others.

the system of being able using the spells has one simple reason: nobody is an universal genius. Only very few people are very strong so they can carry a lot and very intelligent to understand the most difficult theories... Some people are very strong, others are very intelligent.. And some people are neither the one nor the other...
Of course that's some times very hard, but I think it's in your real life the same. You aren't always perfect and reach the best results.. But I think I should stop here or I will start to philosophize

I hope you understood what I wanted to say

You want there to be a main plot?
This is an RP game, you make your OWN story.

I see your point but what I am asking for is a more in-depth adventure to go on, of course it should be optional, adventuring at the moment stands at visiting a cave, exploring everywhere (done it) and sitting in the woods. I want to be able yes to make my own story but I want a bit more scope on what I can do.
I thought the spells things might cause a clash and I do see your point and agree, it is very annoying though,
Do we know if/when such classes like the cleric are appearing and being able to do such things as dark doorways?
No I dont intend to go around summoning demons everywhere.

Guingalan as you know the game is currently and will be for quite some time, under heavy development. The game makers and programmers work hard on this project and have had been experiencing problems as of recent. But I think by the end of January the new client will be out by then and perhaps what you wish for will come, but until then you have to bear with it. And by the way, check out my story in the rpg board on my character Sevious Helios. It may give you some ideas

I have a question... Did people in medieval times really go on many quests? Occasionally, some people went on quests but I believe these people were hand-picked and the quests happened rarely.

Quite true, Roke. Remember the Knights of The Round table-they were nobles who went on quests-chosen by divine interference...
I don't think that every Brendan Mason, fishermage will be chosen to find the mighty scabbard of Truhezbabad.
Oh, and Sevious Helios, how do you know that the new client is arriving in January?

indeed an interesting question where he gains knowledge about when a client update will happen...
for my part i don't know about a release date for a new client... but then i'm only server programmer...

I was told by several different players that rumors have been passed around so I am only repeating what I have heard. That is all I really know. Ah well. I tried.

Did orc's elves and demons exist in medieval times?
And I am aware the game is in development, thats exactly why I decided to say what I had to say now, so it wasnt left till too late.
I think you miss the point when I say about Quests and a plot, I am not suggesting it is made like a single player game with hundreds of NPC's and a storyline that has to be followed, I am suggesting more scope and resources with which to make your own quests if you choose.

There are a few existing background stories and resources around that can be worked with to expand to other plots and quests. It's just that many players don't know these stories, and the ones that are GM lead are not very active due to lack of GM activity.

I have some ideas for player quests that are not technically possible right now because the game just doesn't have the mechanics for them yet.
