This is not really a problem with the illarion client but it has prevented me from playing illarion. when i try to open the illarion client I get the error message "Bad Installation. Error Invoking Java VM(SysExec) */bin/javaw.exe" I have spent many hours looking for a solution so that's why I came here. I am using JRE 6, for the record I have tried uninstalling and re-installing JRE many times, this problem is only with java web start, i do not have problems with other Java applets.

thanks,

Alex

Windows 7, but it is kind of Java's fault because javaw.exe is set to run as admin by the default, but javaws.exe(which is web start) was not set to run as an admin.

Do you have Java installed? You need java RE for it to work (anything after 1.6 is good if I remember well)
