The mega animals ((complaint))

Post by Koboldshroud »

Hello all players and GM's.. i have a little problem here..

Today (a few minutes ago) i ran into a pig near the tolls ban workshop, apon seeing me it attacked, when i examined it.. it was a golem. Also there is the bunny balls that attacked another of my characters earlier this week.

I don't know why these would exist.. im sure it was some bored scripter or something that did this.. If you have to do it. Can't you rather place them where fighters go? not where peaceful folks go> because me and another character were attacked, and we are not fighters.. Please.. because its annoying.

The rock worms (or rot) attacks are fine because they have an RP reason to do so.. but come on.. killer bunnies? and pigs?

Awww, I missed the bunny balls?!

( from past experience, some players would very much have enjoyed that unexpected such as what you posted whether bug or not yet can understand your frustration when a non-fighter... perhaps if a bug take a quick screen shot if able? )

I think the bunnyballs have to do with the quest... thats what it seemed like to me when we were in Elizas after we were at the altar and were attacked by a bunch of skeletons...

Anyway, we went into eliza's after bashing some skeletons and suddenly a few bunny balls attacked us from under the counter. or as my character put it, "The dust bunnies are trying to eat us!!!!!"

All in all, I believe it hsa to do with the quest.

Except the pigs. Thats just plain weird.

The same thing happened to me last night, about 8 hours ago. Only difference was that I got attacked outside the library.

I thought it was just a bored gm being a bastard, though. The pig-golem hadn't been there when I walked past about 5 minutes earlier, and wasn't there when I walked past about 5 minutes later. And after my character had been knocked back, the pig stopped attacking (didn't ghost me) and just stood there.

I can't even remember every single occasion, when a GM spawned some nasty thing to give my char a beating for no particular reason. There were mummies, aggressive animals, huge bees (okay, that I deserved  ), a golem, a pair of demon skeletons...

No complaints from me though. Mostly, those random attacks were a nice change and not completely overpowering.

Oh no, the problem is not that there were random aggressive animals, the problem is that there was a pig with the strength of a golem. Luckily there were fighters nearby to save my ass.

On the plus side, it dropped money and gems.

That was probably a golem that a GM changed into a pig, not a bug.

En passant: You should go and research Fluffy the Sheep.

Edit: Fixed a typo

Could be, or it could've been a spawned golem.
