Ok, I've suddenly decided to start playing illarion again, but i cant really use the computer with all my names maps etc. on it.

I believe you can send these files to another computer, in fact i think ive done it before, but I cant remember how its done.

Can someone help me out here?

Copy the files on an USB Stick or upload them somewhere/send them via local network and put them in the illarion folder of the other computer.
Usually the illarion files are located in "My Documents\Illarion" (if you use Windows).

My documents/wherever the Illarion folder is these days - put folder into a .zip/.rar email .rar/.zip to self - go to other pc - extract to documents.

I've probably missed something since i've never done it, but it seems to be this simple.

Umm. I'm not the greatest help, but what I've done in the past...

Find the file on your old computer, with all of your Illarion files. Copy this onto a flashdrive, cd, or send via email (if it's small enough), then bring it to your new computer, and paste it over the Illarion file on that one.

...Meh. Repetitive information can be useful. xD

One thing that people cant say about the Illarion community is that it doesnt offer quick help.

The character folders should come with the main file... If not, you can always copy each one over individually.

That also didnt work. I'm going to try to find a thumb drive and use that approach.... apparently emailing it isnt working out for me.

EDIT: So far after having used the diskmetho it s working fine. Thanks so much everybody!
