Ist mir gestern schon aufgefallen, das ich häufiger die Nachricht, mit im übertragenen Sinne "Fehler beim Senden" bekomme, wenn ich etwas abschicken wollte.

Der Beitrag von mir steht eingetragen, allerdings steht unter dem Beitrag von Loki Feuerhaar, das er keinerlei Antworten auf seinen Beitrag erhalten hätte, obwohl ja mein Posting dazu steht.

Ich kann meinen Beitrag ebenso nicht mehr löschen, nur Bearbeiten, was ebenso merkwürdig ist. Denn Das löschen geht ja noch solang keine Antwort erfolgte.
Muss wohl ebenso mit dem "Fehler" zusammenhängen.

Haben die anderen ähnliche Probleme, oder ist das nur bei mir so?

Fieps, I did this same thing, til it was called to my attention that the thread in question has been LOCKED. If you look at the thread you will see the icon is a LOCK symbol, which means you can't send or modify in this thread anymore. It's considered a dead thread.

Huh ? How comes it that my threat is locked ?
I cant see the "Lock-Symbol", and i have the same problem like Fieps.
Fieps and Matrin answered my topic, but it sill shows that i am the last one who posted something and that there are *no* replies on what i said there, but in fact there are two replies.

You are right. It is not locked. And it is showing instability in that thread. We are looking into it.

I realize the same problem.
All treads what are from Loki Feuerhaar, creat problems to answer.
Other i have no problem to answer.
But when the topic is from Loki, i have a problem to answer, For example

in both treads i answered, but the server didnt realized it. You can see the message but never the counter reply goes higher.


Right, i look at the symbol from the tread, and i never saw a "locked symbol"

So slowly I'm getting the suspect that the damaged threads are some, where Fieps was the last poster before the damage.

What could the "failed sending email" mean? That someone wanted to be informend of replies and the message couldn't get out for some reason?

Na na, immer langsam.

Als erstes will ich niemals benachrichtigt werden wenn man auf eins meiner Postings antwortet, diese Funktion konnte ich noch nie leiden, weisste was dann mit meinem Email Account passieren würde? ;-).

Zweitens bei den ersten Treads trat es auf, wo Loki der Ersteller des Topics war, das waren aber nur Zufälle, wie sich später herausstellte da es auch in anderen began.
Also mit solchen Beschuldigungen würde ich mich zurückhalten, sowas geht mir zu oft zu schnell ins Auge.
das ist genau wie ingame sowas ufert schnell aus. Weil dann ne Menge Spinner glauben das jede Theorie Fakt sei und die einzige Lösung, und dann entsteht ne Hetzjagd.
Und sowas will ich auf Occ Ebene im Bezug auf mich nicht erleben.

1. Ich weiss das dus vielleicht nicht so gemeint hast, aber das ist nicht der Punkt. Die Interpretation anderer ist hier wichtig, und die kann so ausfallen, dass ich das mit Absicht machen würde, und was dann entsteht kannste dir ja ausmalen.

2. Ja Du scheinst Recht zu haben, der Fehler begann, dann wo mein letzte Post war. Und führte sich danach fort. Ich dachte ich hätte gestern ein Topic erlebt, wo ich nie geschrieben hatte und der Fehler dennoch vorhanden war, leider als ich mich auf die Suche nach dem machte, fand ich dieses nicht.
Daher nehm ich schon an, dass es vielleicht mit mir zusammenhängend ist. Aber wohl gemerkt, unbewusst !

Sicher will ich niemanden für irgendwas verantwortlich machen. Das mit der E-Mail war nur eine Frage, weil ich mir Gedanken gemacht habe, wie das Board funktionieren könnte, um so einen Fehler zu produzieren.
Das der Fehler nicht auf deiner Seite liegt, ist mir schon klar. Aber das bedeutet nicht, dass das Board nicht aus irgendeinem bestimmten Grund nur dann spinnt, wenn von einem bestimmten Account aus gepostet wird.

Außerdem spinnt ja auch nicht jeder Thread in dem du geschrieben hast

Ja, wie gesagt ich hatte Dir auch keine böse Absicht unterstellt, aber das ist ja nun mal leider nicht alles, jeder versteht so etwas wie er will.
Und was daraus schlussfolgern kann, sagte ich ja schon bereits.

This problem is probably related. When I posted in "The Magic Academy" thread in the guild board. It gave me an "error sending email" message. Then when I checked the thread, it didn't move to the top, and the newest message isn't dated, but instead the thread the new message exists.

I can't see half of my posts, but when I go to post, in the little reviewer thing below the reply text box, I can see some posts (including the few that had errors) and ones that did not show up.

... a bug with the Forums? Maybe we should get some new Forums???

For now, anyway, when you can't reply to a thread please start a new thread with your reply.

If you can't reply to any *new* threads please let me know. It seems it may only be a problem with existing threads, but not sure.

Ich habe dieses Prob bei den *Private messenges*.
Beim Absetzen einer Nachricht bekomme ich eine Negativ-Info und das auch bei verschiedenen Personen.

There is a thread in the test forum at which I posted and got the error. My post is there if I search for it using the search feature, but the board didn't create a new page for it so it doesn't show when you open the thread.

@Sun Long kenne ich, bevor das bei mir zum ersten mal innerhalb des Forums auftrag, waren nur privat messages betroffen, die beim Absenden den gleichen Fehler zeigten, wie ein fehlgeschlagenes Post.

Aber was mache ich gegen das *nichtfunktionieren* des Messengers?

Zu dem Messanger kann ich sagen:

Obwohl ich eine Fehlermeldung erhalte, werden meine privaten Nahrichten übermittelt. Fragt nicht warum und wieso ... es klappt einfach.

Also das Board wird mehr und mehr zu einem Mysterium.

Und ja der Loki hat recht, der Messenger funktioniert noch, es steht zwar Failing send, aber die Nachricht wird übertragen.


Im übrigen der Serpardum hat gestern etwas interessantes gesagt.
Er meinte das nur alte Treads von den Fehlern betroffen sind, keine neuen. Diese Erfahrung kann ich bisher bestätigen.... dh. das ich seinem Vorschlag zustimme, dass falls der Tread einen Fehler aufweist, sollte ein neuer mit dem gleichen Topic, oder Kennzeichen zur Fortsetzung des "beschädigten" Topics gemacht werden.

Diese Methode funktioniert im übrigen auch mit dem Messenger.
Ich hab die ganze Zeit dort auf eine "beschädigte" private Nachricht geantwortet, Folge war auch das meine Antwort natürlich wieder den gleichen Fehler enthielt.
Antwortet man aber in einer eigenständigen neuen privaten Nachricht ist der Fehler auch nicht mehr vorhanden.

Es war eine neue Nachricht an jemanden, dem ich noch nie eine Message geschrieben hatte.
Ein *alter* Fehler kann es also nicht sein.
Wenn deine Theorie so stimmt, Fieps, dass zwar *failed* angezeigt wird, die Nachricht aber trotzdem ankommt, dann hat derjenige sie dreimal erhalten *gg*

@Sun Long so gehts mir schon die ganze Zeit.
Ich glaub die Zahl 3 ist irgendwie magisch, gell? Mir schickt man auch immer gleich 3 um auch ja zu überprüfen das sie ankommt.

Schade, dann hat wohl Theorie 1 doch keinen Hintergrund, bei mir klappte es bisher immer, war da wohl wo nur Zufall.

I made a post in the Rangers thread in the guild board (which is a thread near the top)), but it only show if you look at it in the history if you post a reply.

I posted a reply in the Rangers guild also, and it did the same thing yet the post showed up.

I can't seem to find a pattern in which threads I have problems. And it seems only some people have problems with certain threads while some others don't. This is what I've experienced:


Newer thread near the top with few posts: Failed
Slightly older and lower thread and less posts than above: Success
Very old thread near the top with 50+ posts: Failed
Very old thread near the middle of page 1 with 50+ posts: Sucess
Even older thread near the bottom of page 1 with 50+ posts: Failed


I think we really need a solution for this problem soon.

though the old posts won't show up still...
only there shouldn't be new posts not showing up...
i'm trying to find out how to fix the old posts now...

The problem was when someone asked to receive an e-mail when threads were responded to, then gave a bogus e-mail address.

Shi'voc fixed that bug, and is cleaning up the DB.

Why did I expect that?

well i hope i fiexed every thread which was corrupted due to the bug...
if there are still problems, just post te threadid here...
