Die Taverne bleibt bis auf weiteres geschlossen.

* a man wereing shadow plate walks up to the tavern and tries to open the door and then see the note and trys to read it but can not.
he grumbles a bit that the door is locked and places a note on the door nere it and walks off*
why would you lock the tavern?
people have food and drinks in there and now no one can get there things from there what are they supposed to do?

This has happened frequently in the past.
One would think all are wise enough to avoid using the Tavern for storage purposes.

well why would i not keep drinks in a tavern??
its a tavern you buy drinks there why not stow drinks there?

A towering burly man stumbles through the night and stops in front of the tavern door. He tugs on the doorknob frantically, then roars in disappoint it's locked. The man smashes against the door with his massive fist a few times - denting the door, then leaves into the night angrily, cursing as he walks.
