For NPC soldiers is a "Surrender" command programmable? by that i mean if a character says "I surrender" the NPC will tie him up then leave him alone, or drag him off, or immobilize him till a GM comes to question him?

Well i figured it might be a
if "surrender" then immobilize, change status to 1
before attacking check status, if 1 then don't attack. but i can see that being a little problem with npc's getting stuck on a character, not sure how to fix, maybe add a if 1 then move X in Y direction. which would allow them to target someone else in a battle, if there is noone else then they surround and mock the prisoner till the GM shows up. just a thought for battles like this.

There is yet no scriptable check before the attack. The monster sees a player and goes rampage.

could we change the character to an object till gm resets him? NPC's don't hit objects
edit: also, this would only be for quest npc's

I'm just thinking this because i thought it might be fun RP (for me anyway) to have/be a prisoner of war.

So: Someone could pick you up. Unless you're one of these objects that's stuck to the ground. Either way, the player can't control an object, so your object avatar would be ingame, but where would you be? Even if you're invisible, monsters still attack you.

i think you would be visable, and still able to talk unless gagged. and monsters don't attack items. or objects. so even tho you would like like a person. your really more like a goblet mechanic wise. also with a war like this you might also want to give the item a "free" option other characters can use. maybe a right click "drag" command. just thinking things like this might be nice for wars like this. It would have been very amusing for me to RP a prisoner of war.
edit: also i could potentially be picked up and carried(due to size)and perhaps this would muffle my voice so a talk = wisper, shout = talk, but i'm not sure how this would work in game mechanics and seems like way to much effort so i think leave that alone...

hmmmm...
*thinks*
Idea : Battle / monster script = on hit that would reduce below 0 HP -> instead teleport to prison and inform "The last blow strikes you down. Everything goes black... as you awake, you find yourself in a cell / prisoner camp. Someone must have carried you there while you were unconscious."
*doubts*
question : scriptable ?
