What is this Mas thing everyones talking about? Just it seems im the only one not in the loop! And is it finished now?

Mas is the haunted month (the month lasts like 2 days )

Sometimes the devs use it as a good chance to try out their nasty new intentions (e.g. exploding bees, mummies of madness and traps).

I will say yhat I am a bit disappointed that all we got this Mas was the same as last Mas...

..Makes me remember by first Mas, was hilarious-
Had a char that basically lived in the northern woods and so on, came down to Troll's Bane to find some people and BANG! Right when I was near the gates I saw a shitload of mummies and was like "OHSHEET NUULYNCHMUMMIESFFFFUUUUUU-" and died. I actually quit that char after that happened, and started on a dwarf after. Or a lizard, forgot.

My first Mas was probably at some point during the Lich Wars anyway so it didn't make a difference. The town doors were shut so you couldn't get in (you didn't used to be able to open/shut doors) and there were skulls, demon skeletons and flame skeletons round the perimeter. Everyone hung around at the Grey Rose.

And therefore noone needed locks

They just needed gms to lockpick the door and trowel a shut door for them. Except noone did this. So Silverbrand/Grey Rose etc. were open to all.
