As the title says, we have a big problem in troll's bane, we all are trapped inside, we are surrounded by mummies o' madness, we need help now....
come as quickly as ye can tis no joke we are in dire need

Finding this note he sends his dove to drop this not back within the city.
I have seen the problem you face and cannot be of assistance. When I defeated one of the beasts it multiplied into five others. Some magic must be at work, but I am incapable of being of much assistance. If you could give me your location I might be able to create a plan to help, but I am unsure of how more I can be of assistance other than alerting others and bringing a teleportation book.

You obviously have not been through Mas before, all you can do is wait until daylight tomarrow..then they can be killed.

"Oh! Here at elf island at last.." The hobbit hops out of the portal, and goes to the nearest depot to dump his load and then seems to head to the harbor and wait, then after a few minutes goes back to the elven isle.

The mummies of madness multiply by two each time they are killed. at least they do normally. However, during daylight one can kill them without risk of multiplying.
Keep in mind! Killing mummies of madness during cover of darkness is a crime that can cost LIVES!
