Text Editing IG?

i dont really make proposals... but i have read what others have proposed and i will nod my head yes or no in agreement or not to myself.. as for that.. i really dont know anything about "scripting".. or anything otherwise about what goes into this game but ... i am a comprehensive and sort of fast typer... but sometimes i find myself typing emotes that are long or totally misspell a word or two... and want to get back and either, the conversation has been interupted by a new player or a question to what your typing has occured... i know a lot of people can keep up and im not asking for a total overhaul.. just curious.... my options now are backspacing and correcting myself or entirely re-writing the whole thing... i guess my proposal or question for that fact... is there anyway to have a text editing thing with cursor... or copy/paste thing... like i said im not very game creation literate so i dont know what this would constitute in changing... but maybe a faster corrective thing for typing for us (me) slowskies...
thanks

ps.. yes i know my style of writting is for lack of better words out there..lol

A real text cursor (as in moving forward and backwards in the written text and changing words within the written line) is yet not avaiable. To create something like this is much harder then it sounds. But its already on the todo list and one day it will be there

Just an isea but you could just save them to f2,f3 and f6

Dude, cant you quite think further?
Sometimes happens that a message i did not save (F2-F6 are full) i notice some big mistakes in the beginning of the looong emote.
(f.e. gwkki szsw instead of hello dude, happens O.o) and then press enter cuz i dont want to write all again.
Or if your saved texts have an error in the very beginning and you post it every time
Would just be cool to have a text cursor to move around and fix the wrong part, instead of writing "*[right text]"
But k, it'll be ingame some time, so

Shift+insert pastes into the editor.

I have F6 set to a single space so if I need to delete a line I just press that. Otherwise just press backspace (don't hold it, tap it fast).
Regardless, "fast typer"s generally don't look at the keyboard when they type, so they can immediately identify any mistakes, and even if you're watching tv at the same time or something you nearly always know when you've pressed the wrong key.

Shift + Home/Pos1 deletes all the text.

But F6 does it in just 1 key.

But I have F6 free to use for other (for me more important) texts.
Each to his own.

I don't need macros, I can just type what I want.
Plus if you're really desperate you can use ctrl+F1-6 as well.
