It was supposed to be just a small treasure hunt

~ Erick Mac Spinan arrives home visibly exhauted, blood covering his face and armor. His leather bag is no longer with him, as well as his magical serinjah-sword and other possessions.
It all started with Blake's challenge to look for a treasure. He would share the loot with Rose. Friends gathered and a portal was opened. The group went to some point North of Bane, among robbers. The thieves were put to death, then the group started to head South.
Erick is mainly a tailor, and Alexander soon kept closer to protect his new friend. Some wolves were faced and killed. Erick couldn't help taking the fur, thinking about the nice products he could make with them. But then other wolf attacked, and then another one. At this moment, Alex and Erick lost track of the group, but both were able to put the wolves to death. Then a bad vision came up. A troll. This one was defeated, but then an even worst vision was to be faced. Two more trolls coming together. At first, they attacked Alexander, and Erick had some difficulty to find a way through the bush to help his friend. When he finally came, Alexander was about to kill one of them alone. They even fought both at the same time. But then Alex was too weak to hold the second attack... Erick saw his friend's soul being lifted in front of his very eyes, and he knew he wouldn't be able to handle the creatures. His wisest decision was only running. Followed by two trolls, one of them throwing some magic fireballs, Erick could escape in the middle of the forest, but then he knew he should go back and take Alexander's possessions to return them to the owner. It was his pride and honour which made him go back.
Erick bravely found his way back to the same spot, killing another wolf in the middle of it, and took the helmet, the mace and some money back. The possessions were held as a trophy, and Erick found some parchment to send a dove to Alex, telling him he had Alex's things back.
Erick wasn't sure about his own whereabouts, so he tried to go home, proud of having the loot with him. Unfortunately, two goblins found him first. Erick were able to kill them both, but then a third, apparently stronger than the two first, came up. Starving, Erick could handle the goblin for a while, but this was too strong to fight a starving tailor. From that moment on, Erick can barely remember what really happened...
Somehow, he arrived in Greenbriar and found mercy before a lady halfling called Tikki, who prepared and served him some fish.
Erick arrived home exhausted and hurt, just to look at his dear Orioli widening her eyes at such a terrible sight.
He tried to smile but he couldn't. He mumbled something like "Home..." and stumbled on the ground. ~

Run you fool!

~As Alexander fell to the two trolls he mumbled "Run you fool" barely audible over the loud, sickly crack as steel met bone.
Alexander lay motionless of the floor and everything went dark as he felt himself torn in two, his body and his soul disconnected for what seemed like hours and when he could gather enough force he found himself back at Trolls Bane in front of another friendly face "Lura I need...H......... Help" mumbled Alex as he lay on the floor, as she helped the brave soldier back to his feet he realized that Drakon and Rose had fallen and was getting treated. Rose had minor damage to her arm while Drakon had serious lacerations from wolf bites and scratches.
A little while later he was giggling infront of the fire eating a nice pork dish that Mark Strongarm had prepared telling the tale of when he came face to face with a trolls of northern woods~

Having just crawled out of her cave that she has slept and lived in for almost a year, blinking her large green eyes in the bright light of the sun shining on new fallen snow, Tikki can't help but grab a handful making a snowball to throw at a passing rabbit before her large hairy feet amble toward the nearest apple tree. Grabbing a spare stick she hits on the trunk until one apple falls with a plop as it lands directly on her head before toppling to the ground. Bending to pick it up she freezes in the act with hand less then two inches from the apple as a tree next to her moves. Giving an almost unheard yelp in her fright she tries to back away and falls on her butt next to the apple in the snow as her normally wide eyes now become enourmous. Hearing the tree finally talk and realizing it was just a tall human she stands brushing off snow from her overly large trousers and smiles yelling loudly so the man can hear her "Greetings!" before taking a bite of the apple.

Learning of his hunger, Tikki offers her bruised partially eaten apple which he takes with deep gratitude though still hungry. Tikki pulls out some smelly uncooked fish from her bag "You like fish, I can cook!" speaking proudly as her neck cranes trying to see the man's face. At his nod she finally finds an oven muttering about no good caves here before taking the now cooked fish back to the man. He seemed not to notice how burned they were, nor any dirt on them from her dragging them as she watched him eat with relish as if it was the best food he ever had. Crawling on top of a log near the cooking pot and letting her feet dangle Tikki prepares to hear the man's story, anxious to find out how he came to Greenbriar and what happened to him yet all the activity overwhelmes her finally and with eyes becoming heavy she falls asleep on the log to the voice of the man saying "..and I decided to go back to get his bag."

Lura had just woken up from a nap, only having time to smile at the still-sleeping face of her child before he had collapsed near her feet. She demanded that Drakon and Alexander sit on the log, so she could inspect them both and despite Alexander's protests, she healed him first, only pausing in her work to tell him to shut up. She kept her baby in a sling around her neck as she worked, his little brown eyes watching her deft hands clean the wounds of the two men.

They sat by the fire as his wounds healed and she told him secrets of her unhappiness, him sharing well-known facts of his. He gave reassurance after reassurance, the only thing she could say to him was, "Whatever you say Alex." and the only he could say to her many protests of hope, "The only way is for me to leave to the mainland."

by Samaras
After her conversation with Lura and Alexander, Samara's heart becomes heavy with added burden. Unable to find peace any longer, she stands up to take a walk. Feeling Lura's eyes on her, she walk off slowly, a sense of overwhelmness overcomes her. Reaching the east gate, she breaks off into a run, her legs carrying her to the one place that had always held her pain and tears.
Samara closes her eyes as she runs throught the western forest, down the path that she had taken so many times before. As if feeling her misery, the heavens break into rain. Reaching the open gates of the monestary, drenched, her own tears lost with that of the sky's, she lays a hand on her stomach silently. Deep guilt tears at her, as she thinks of the life that she holds within her.
Unable to stand much longer she heads to the ancient alter of Eden. She rests her head on the alter, finding comfort in its coldness. Her lips break into murmers of prayers sometime, and questions of forgiveness at the many guilt she carries another.
Finally she falls into sleepless slumber, as she holds on to one last memory of laughter, one image burns through her mind; the gift of the magical fire waraxe...
