The dragon cave

I need some help...i entered the dragon cave but there is no dragon
.Please can someone tell me where should i go to find a dragon or at least a flying skull...thank you.

Well, the dragon was pretty annoyed and left its cave because of so many people wanting to see it.

the skulls should be there always.
the dragon does not spawn very often and can be hard to catch there.
