A "#do" command

I think a #do command would improve roleplaying greatly. I saw the command on some other RP game.

Here's what it would do:

if someone #do The room turns dark and cold. it would appear in chat like this:

The room turns dark and cold. ((name of player))

So, what do you think, would this be good IG?

While there have been many times I've wished this, for more supernatural RP, I feel it would give players a God complex - suddenly there'd be lightning everywhere etc.

If you need this, hire a gm ;)

Lets just fix real things first and then concentrate on something that can't be fixed with some clever use if english language

#me squints his eyes as the room suddenly turns dark

bery bimple bun boo bay?

But that gets kinda stupid in many cases

#me watches as his dove flies into the room

#me glances as the dove explodes into flames, killing women and children

#me scratches his head as an infinate amount of hamsters comes out of the hat (*whistles for Alex*)

I didn't say you have to make room dark and cold by it :wink:
Lets say #do Scratching can be heard from the other side of the door.
#do The swords is adorned with a red gem on its hilt.

I don't think it would take long time to make either :wink:

I proposed this a while ago Dangron, and it was rejected. People told me to use #me - The swords are adorned with a red gem on their hilts.

I guess they can't understand its utility until they play LS-RP, so it doesn't matter. Or just use * text here *

Lets say #do Scratching can be heard from the other side of the door.
=> #me scratches ...
#do The swords is adorned with a red gem on its hilt.
=> #me: The sword is ...
Or better: get a "custom built article".

This does the job. Everyone will understand. I don't see any need to implement another command that is very similar to the emote command.

Nothing personal but ~just reading this thread cracked me up! People who don't game and explore a little ~miss out on a lot! Thanks for the entertainment. *Walks away giggling to herself.*

(Psst.. who is this Orioli person? >_>)
#me scratches his head as an infinate amount of hamsters comes out of the hat (*whistles for Alex*)
Damnit, where's Nitram when you need him?

*Looks around for molotovs*

Also, that was clever of you to spell infinite wrong in order to summon me.

Why not simply writte~ #me grasps the hilts of his swords harder, the red gem within the hilt glows slightly in the fading sunlight~ there done.

Ugh. Those were just some examples. As MoonDust said you cannot understand it 'till you played Los Santos RolePlay.

No you simply don't see the full capabilities of the #me command, simply include the surroundings in your charrp= win for everyone.
