Several small parchments flutter across town in the breeze amidst numerous moans and shufflings. A few can also be seen pinned outside the walls and on trees surrounding the town. You pick one up and it reads:

Warning: Madness has overrun the town.

The town has been overrun by several large hordes of monsters known as the Mummies of Madness. These gather in large groups and should NOT BE ATTACKED as to do so causes their multiplication.

Instead all citizens are advised to exercise caution and to stay away from town. The gates have been locked and as such if you are trapped inside the town you should head towards the tavern as a safe point has been created there.

The town cross should also provide protection, although it should be noted that a large horde has been sighted between the cross and the workshop.

Stay safe and may the Gods be with you.

Im trapped at the cross, my food is running low and the zombies are surrounding the cross. could someone come to the cross and help??
