probably a stupid question so i will post it here....

in game, there are different colors for the name s above peoples heads
what do those indicate?

and on the online list, there are different colors for he names listed
same question

I havent found a way to ask this question in game without ooc ing

If someone's name is red IG, it' means they have a weapon in hand. Green I think means one in the belt, Yellow means unarmed. As for the online list, I think it's if they have a profile (story, description)

That makes sense about in game (and good to know!)

the online list must be number of votes, i dont really understand the system
it may have something to do with the length of your story or description
several character have stories and description, but low "votes", perhaps
due to the length of the stories.

Red color = weapons/tools in hand

Green = distance weapons(bow and arrow, sling, throwing star, throwing spears ETC) in hand

Yellow = nothing in their hands besides something that cannot be used as a weapon e.g. shield and such

lol i wouldnt count a fishing rode as a weapon yet i can still remeber going fishing, walking through the town and a guard screaming "drop your weapon!" priceless once he look at my char

Moral of story, dont bait the guards

I dont really think it is the LENGTH of the description that gets it a good rating

perhaps the admins are rating them based on their story value?
If this is so, what are the criteria for good story value? History of the character?

or perhaps its a democracy and other players are voting on the "likeability" of the character and not the profile?
