i was wondering if the background was meant to be a lassie at a port, because of me colour blindness its rather hard to the other things e.g. inbox and such due to the simliar colours.. good enough for help?

It's easy, just press PRT SCRN on your keyboard (above your arrow keys), then open Paint or another image manipulation software, press CTRL + V, then save it as JPG.. then go to www.tinypic.com upload the picture and paste the resulting link here.

Yes, it's a rather horrid background and I agree that for colorblind people it must be a pain.
