I was on irc the other day, on illa, when the server status thing blinked at me. It gave me a warning that there was an issue, and it ended up that a bot, or some jerk, is hopping from channel to channel, tossing out a link that goes to a virus.

As trusting as we are, I wanted to make sure that you all are a bit careful when on IRC, because we can still have some one hop in, send a virus, and hop out.

Uh.. this should be a general rule. Don't click random links from people that have no description, especially if you don't know the person, unless it's to something like youtube.

And get zonealarm..
