The skills that are supposed to come with the start package do not appear once you enter Gobaith with a new character. What's more the option to choose a start location other than Noobia does not appear despite losing the new player tag.

You can choose any starting location but noobia once you have one character that left noobia. In case you don't have one you can't select anything but the newbie island.

How ever the start packages indeed are not placed on your character right away in case you enter noobia as starting location. You get those at the end of noobia. If you choose another starting location you get those things from the start package right away.

Yes what you described is supposed to be the case I know. I posted because it is not working like you described.

I fail to understand what did not work.

The PO means that despite the first char going through noobia the game is making the second char also go through noobia, as there are no other starting points available in the drop down menu

Same problem with me.
Already my fourth char i made, and always the only starting point available is noobia.
All of my chars left noobia behind them, but new chars of the same account always start there.
Its kinda ´boring to play noobia 4 to 5 times, so please change this.

Should work correctly now.

Same problem. Can't choose start location and new characters without starting skills.

For some reason if you create character #1, and pass it through newbie island.

Then create #2, you'll still have to go through the whole ordeal.
