Do I need to find a pic online rather than on my computer? I cannot seem to be able to upload properly from my computer at all. Any help would be much appreciated!

I had the same problem when trying to upload from my computer, but putting the file on my webspace and using it from there seems to work.

As Astral said, upload it to a site that allows off-site linking to images, etc...I use Boomspeed for my avatar, but sometimes it doesn't allow free sign-ups, due to an 'overload' of misused accounts or something.

I can't afford to pay for a site, neither can i find one i can copy a picture across, would anyone owning a site allow people in my position to send them images that they could upload to their sites?

Try lycos - make a litte HP and take the rest of space for your images!

(The following hosts, I'm not too sure if they're any good--I've used the aforementioned trio of sites)

Plus many more. Usually, you can search the web for "free image hosting" or something, and most will be hosting for auctions, though many will probably not do anything if you don't use the images for auctioning items on some sites.
