My character's dodge skill doesn't work anymore, all creatures either hit him or my char gets to parry. This also happens when my char tries to hit a creature, I always get to hit since the creature won't dodge. The character is Mablung Ancalime

Heavy armor disabled the dodge skill.

My character is wearing "light" armor. A simple plate mail, blue steel greaves, salkamerian helmet, steel golves/boots, and a shield. Also, I am not encumbered.

The problem isn't only that I can't dodge, no one can dodge me either. It is as if the dodge skill doesn't apply to my client. You might say this is a good thing, but no, I get killed faster.

It works again, the problem was the steel gloves.

So what is light armor? Only the leather kind?

leather, chain. But it depends on the set of armor you wear at the end.

Just wondering... Is blue steel greaves not considered chains and therefore light armor then? Or?

And do good strength make one able to wear more heav armor than a weaker char? According to the comments my char gets for the strength when looking at the char attributes - then the strength should make a strong person being able to wear more heavy armor.

Just wondering...

Someone really needs to update their name ever since the graphics got changed.

In ye olde days blue steel greaves were pretty much heavy metal leggings painted blue, like their red cousins.

Currently there's nothing blue about them and they look like chain leggings, which is what most would sell them as.

What about short blue steel greaves?

Why not simply change the stats of the blue "chain" greaves and make them "light armor"?

My character used these greaves from the beginning .. because I thought they were "light" ...

I don't know the names of that items. The things that look like chain are chain and this way light armor.

Item: 2111

"Blue Steel Greaves"

(2112) is 'short blue steel greaves'

Could you rename that and mark it as light?
--

2116 "Red Steel Greaves" could use a rename as well
2117 (short )

Would a light blue breastplate be considered "light" armored? Considering it has the word light in it? It looks pretty heavy to me, however.
