The current skill system knows only one lead attribute: INT. No matter what you do, the more INT, the more swirlies. This disallows any specialization, at least skill wise.

My complete proposal how to change the skill system is available to the developers. But I have little to no hope anything will change anytime soon or at all.

To be honest i can't see why a strong warrior should learn quicker really...

My point with my suggestion was that it is ok to have a hobby as crafter but you will never be as good as a real crafter. This will leavethe crafting as a hobby - nothing more unless you settle with lower demands.
