The gods now got a good and bad side, making them more realistic than the idealistic picture they hadbefore, atleast that is what I believe might happend, wasn't there soo... give us some explaination aeghol.

It was a GREAT show by the GMs...thanks a lot to all you and your efforts.

I was going to make an rp post that says it in more artful terms, but that might just lead to more questions. What happened, in summation:

*The demons, having completed the breastplate and having stolen the sword that Moshran took at the beginning of our story (if you don't know what I'm talking about, you have to read your Illa history provided to us by folks like Nanuk and Damien) attempted to summon Moshran up and provide him his sword and armor, effectively setting him up to go to battle with the world again in a rage.

(As a sidenote, this demonic plot was orchestrated behind the scenes by the Bjolmur and possibly some things by Dragorag and Cherass had some roles as well. At this point they are off back in hiding, afraid they may have offended the gods and called down their anger. While no one is aware of this, it's sort of important to know as to how the gods work: as in, Moshran wasn't behind this. He was more happy being left alone, resting. Again, if you don't know who these people I'm talking about are: go read the history! =P)

The demons successfully summoned Moshran who, seeing the sword and breastplate, acknowledged they belonged to him and took them. At this point the world was at considerable danger, but danger was averted...

The rest of the Eleven arrived just in time. Encircling Moshran they took from him each part of his burden of sorrow, loneliness, and anger, attempting to heal him. Unfortunately, the result is that all now suffer a bit from the taint.

The gods, now effectively more alien (as far as each being infected by an otherworldly burden of emotions) and less predictable, make a promise that never again will the world be threatened so by the gods again (they'll leave the destruction of the world to man).

And they float away. People who make calendars would mark the calendars by that day, calling it a new era.

Religion, Culture, and the course of history and the way people interact with eachother would change in the next era, but that's left for us to do in the future. Never before at Illarion have we trusted the players of Illarion to have such big hopes for the future as to expect that we could really create a collective story on this level, but if you'll work with me, I'll work with you.

The repercussions and effects of all this will be explained in the next storyline, which will be beginning shortly. =)

So what happened to the demons that summoned Moshran?

Did they get banished? Did they flee? Are they still about or what?

They were made gaseous by the gods. =)
