Just like normal gems, maybe a bi more shiny? Are the glowing and buzzing? Or do thy fly around like bees?
I mean: Is a non-mage able to identify that gems as magic at first sight?

He means roleplay-wise, not engine wise.

I would assume that could be based on whether or not your character is sensitive to magic.

A mage is certainly going to know whether a gem is magical or not, but to any odd farmer its going to appear merely as a shiny rock.

Sort of like the age-old question that seems to have tons of answers....do you actually see a ghost or not? It would make sense though that someone with magical tendencies would see them better.

I am pretty sure that if you see a magical gem, you would know it. For one, lots of people would be drooling over it, and since people put them in their tools and things it makes sense that a farmer would understand it is magical since... they are put in their tools.

The magical gems are easy to recognize because they are also known as Sex Fooser stones.

It's made with bits of real Fooser, so you know it's good.
