I’ve been thinking about betting games in game. I remember one Halfling character a while back used to run role played card games which were really good. Only thing was there was no in game control of fairness. Which I think caused a few disagreements. So (and this is purely a personal want *smiles sweetly* for one of my characters and of course to benefit the game as whole! ) how about a game supported betting...thing?

Dice: How about a dice graphic, when dragged and dropped onto the ground or table (not a players bag or belt square) a random emote i.e. ‘Drathe shakes the die and rolls a 6.’ Or ‘Drathe shakes the die and rolls a 3’ etc. Much like the snowball script only with 6 random emotes. That way players can bet on what number is rolled, or any of the many dice games. Maybe use it to choose who has to fight a spider or do the dirty job, like the paper, scissors, rock game.

What do you horrible lot think? Maybe there is a better suggestion or idea?

Bring the dice static on a table in the tavern, and when used (shift-click) , all people 3 squares around get the message *u see a 4 and a 2*

This is the most obvious suggestion ever. And it can be programmed to prevent cheating as well. And its not hard to do either.

There IS a dice graphic and there IS a dice script that Nitram has, but I don't know why he doesn't put it in.

because the graphic is not in the client.

There are these red circles that are used at the poker thing north of TB... make an item with the same graphic named dice for now.. really, I promise no one will care that it doesn't look like a dice until you can update the client..

I don't want my swords called slippers and I don't need red circles called dice.

Because really, I'd rather have a dice and a temporary graphic until they update the client than no dice at all.

I think we can get along without dice until that proper graphic is in the client.
