Account banned by the multi-account tracer

So maybe this isn't too big of a deal, but just a small situation is at hand...the right hand and not my left because we all know what I do with my left hand. ;)

Simple scenario: I went to my family's house for the Thanksgiving and my brothers created some Illara characters and decided to play the game, thus linking our IP address' together and now I'm banned from Illarion. :(

Normally, I use the IP I'm using now (feel free to look at my IP log now via forum account, it's probably different).

But my two brothers share an account I believe, but I'm seperate from them. They don't look like me and we don't have a lot in common anyways. For example, I prefer chocolate ice cream whereas they prefer vanilla. They're lame.

I'd like to play the game again soon, if at all possible. ;)
I figured I'd simply PM a GM about this matter but then I thought maybe this would be the fastest way to get a GMs attention, rather than to guess on who logs in more than who, though I suspect Estralis is around a little bit more often. Maybe he's unemployed?

Just kidding. ;)

Help would be appreciated though. :)
Yours truly,

Korr

Hey, hey Revan is loooookin' gooood. :D
You should look into the situation, since you're on the board right now.

I can give you 343,493,504 euros if you allow me to play again.
I can throw in some pogs too, I don't have use for them anymore.

EDIT: Ooooooooh, man! You logged out of the forum, Revan! I could be harassing some fine people and hooking up with chicks in a long-term relationship via Illarion right now, you were supposed to be my saint. :(

You really should have PMed this to a GM. They can add your account to a list that says multiple accounts can exist on your IP.

I don't mean to be mean but ehh..a good rule of thumb is that you shouldn't post unless it involves others than just yourself. There is no need letting everyone know you can't log in. Just mail a gm and be patient.

1. It's ok, you're not being mean. I can tell from the 'eh', that you're obviously Canadian and EVERYBODY knows that the fine people from Canada are friendly. Is it snowing there yet, btw?

2. I broke my thumb in a freak ski trip accident that involved me showing off in front of a girl that I thought would date me if I looked cool. That really has nothing to do with the subject, but thought it was worth mentioning.

3. The main intention of this message is not to inform EVERYone that I can't log in. Is it possible this can happen? Yes, sure...do I care if people know? Not really, do they care? Who knows? Depends on the person, probably. I stated in my original post, amigo: "I figured I'd simply PM a GM about this matter but then I thought maybe this would be the fastest way to get a GMs attention, rather than to guess on who logs in more than who, though I suspect Estralis is around a little bit more often. In the future, if posting here is really THAT big of a deal, I won't do it again, I'm not trying to start trouble, but to have a board titled 'accounts' and to be told I shouldn't post this sort of an issue in this particular board...then what really is this board for? Specific account issues...or? This thread just may help some other poor fellow to in the future (though, I admit, I could have maybe re-titled my subject line).

The description states: "Questions about accounts here". I'm questioning my account. Chillax....chill.....ax.

Peace be with you.
Korr

PS - Estralis isn't unemployed, that was a joke.
PSS - I'm not trying to offend you by saying you're Canadian.
PSSS - If you really are Canadian, I'm going to LOL.

Edit: I just looked at your location, you're from the US. Nevermind.
Just to give you a heads up.

Edit #2: Mesha is on the forums and we both use the same mouth wash, I KNOW I can count on Mesha. I think Mesha is actually german for, "true helper", if I'm thinking straight.

FINAL EDIT
Ok, so Mesha helped me get everything figured out. All is well. I do want to make something clear within the GM community and world: I'm not trying to cheat the system, I don't bother trying to trade items (I don't even work on skillz anyways, with work and other things in my schedule, I generally just go on and roleplay around with people). All that simply happened was I came home during Thanksgiving and my brothers made an account to play and everybody thought all our accounts were linked up together. I'm back home now and will explain the situation to them ASAP.

-Case Closed-
Feel free to lock this topic at anytime.
Thanks again Mesha for your help.

And on a small note: I apologize for the random messages I sent to random users who I noticed were online on the forums and asking things like, "If you know where the GMs live in RL, go to their house and wake them up and tell them to help me..."

If anybody reports me for harassing them on the boards and I lose my account, I'll cry. Please don't, the intention was not to invade anybody's privacy. :)

See ya'll ingame.

Hmm, you could have used the chat, some of the GMs are usually there.

Also next time you can release the capslock before you type ;)

Ps- Chocolate icecream > Vanilla

I know how to use caps lock...when I want to EXPRESS a word LOUDLY, I use it and I use it proudly. When I want to title something (i.e. FINAL EDIT), I use caps lock. Usually, if you remember, the dwellers of this community only frown upon caps lock when it is used when somebody complains about something (for example, like a new player trying to get his/her account to work) by using the caps lock button for an entire posting about something. It's the cool-thing -- I'm not sure who started it -- to bring that up only when a newbie does something like this:

Example...
OMG?!! LOL?!! WHY WON'T MY ACCOUNT WORK???!!!

Not when I only used it for titles and to express certain words in a loud manner. See, I didn't do that in any of my previous posts. Please don't tell me how to use caps lock when I clearly know how to use it. For future reference though and since we're on the issue, I do suggest you use the space bar to separate words that were meant to be separated (i.e. ice cream instead of icecream). Two can play at that game.

However, since you share the same love with the chocolate ice cream as I do, I will forgive you.

And yes, I was in the chat the entire time I was logged into the forum and posting here. But I do appreciate the helpful advise anyway. ;)

But I attempt to make a distinction between

ice cream

and icecream

The first out appears to be a frozen blob of cream, which although describes ice-cream/icecream quite well, it lacks the reference to the sugar and egg which is added to the latter.

It's enough now.
