Attention All Artists

In the coming months I'll be doing some extensive work updating and changing the story/races/gods pages and I thought these pages might look better with some drawings or even better paintings. However, my expectations are high and I don't know if we have anyone in the community that fits them. It's not just artistic detail that I'm looking for, but something that "feels right" and fits the Illarion style.
If you're willing to try out your work, first you need to promise yourself you won't be offended if I don't choose you (remember: expectations are high) and second post a drawing or painting of your favorite Illarion god or goddess. Multiple entries are accepted. The only reward I can offer is a forum title of "Official Illarion Artist" sort of like Fooser and Drathe's title from the banner contest.
That being said, let's see your art. =)

Is this the thread where I apply for a forum title of resident troll?

It's where you apply for Arien to smite you. Yes. =)

I'm sure he'll be around to delete my posts.
I still want a forum title. I deserve it.

troll
One who posts a deliberately provocative message to a newsgroup or message board with the intention of causing maximum disruption and argument
spammer
1. A moron who sends out E-mails, filling up your inbox so you can't find any real E-mail.
2. One who seems to think that a 7-year-old girl needs to be informed she can enlarge her penis in just 6 weeks.
"What's the rope and rifle for?"
"Ima' going spammer hunting!"
Clearly, I am a Troll, not a Spammer.

That's pretty discouraging you know.. D: Doesn't even give me the courage to try. >_>;

But it is something that needs to be said LifeWonder. Otherwise people will feel it's a personal grudge if their art doesn't get selected. Art is subjective (to a certain extent). So feel free to send the art, and even if it doesn't get chosen, at least you still tried. You aren't an artist if you can't take criticism, and you can't ever further yourself as an artist, if you don't make anything (and send it out to receive criticism).

What I meant is not that I don't like criticism, it's that I've been on Illarion for ~4 years and I have no clue what an Illarion god would look in realistic drawing..

There is ofcourse a great deal of personal input. However, every god has a very detailed description of how they usually appear. Try to read up on them on the pages about gods.

Have you even bothered to send in an application? There is details on that on the wiki you know.

Because of work limitations I don't have time to IG GM until probably after christmas so I haven't sent an application, and I highly doubt theres a forum mod application.

So you are interested in GMing after Christmas? Can't wait to read the application then.

And about a forum mod application, I'd seriously have to look in to that, the way how we take on people like that and what not.

As far as I know, forum moderation candidates are either GM's, Staff, or the least likely, least experienced, and most nausenced person they can possibly find based on how much the staff likes them.
I will likely be applying for GM in the next month or so once I get everything situated, though indirectly, many staff here have already pretty much voted against me.

I do think you have to realise that they actually have to have good arguments not to take you. Personal grudge is left out as much as possible (or tried to be left out anyway). Pessimism surely isn't the way to go in life mister Turny.
EDIT
Anyway, this thread is supposed to be about art!

That's actually surprisingly good, Korm. Can you draw things other than naked women as well? If so, I think we might have an artist. =)

She's not naked, you can clearly see she is wearing underpants.
And why hasn't someone swung the banhammer yet?

So cybering is banned. Gruesome descriptions are banned. This game is trying to be friendlier to younger audiences and you can put a picture like that?

I bet you could not find a definition for 'art'.
Similarly I could argue that cybering is an art, because its literature.

as artist i don't define art, i just make it.
this might be porn, if i would show it:

Well, Mister Korm, are you volunteering to draw for us? I must warn you that you might have to draw fully clothed women and sometimes even men of varying degrees of being clothed as well?
This shouldn't stop everyone else from posting art, because we might use more than one artist. =)

Aeghol,
on a more serious note now:
i am a very slow worker in these things.
specially persons. till they liken, what i want them to look like, it takes many hours.
things like these would be more to my liking:

I hope you have a scanner though. :3
Aeghol, would you settle with tablet digital drawings, or would they absolutely have to do be classic pen drawn?
