i agree with ezo it was exciting and really took the game to a new level so maybe the attacks could be a little more frequent??.

Of course, an atack like this makes fun. But these fights aren`t the most important thing. Often they have a RP background (Gm quests), which is more interesting, more important than the fight against a big group of monsters.

For the most new players it is a alternation to the normal play action. Maybe it is a celebration for PK`s and powergamers, where their can fight and slaugth without end.

There was a longer break of such attacks and only some few older players and their chars know which powers are behind them.

Maybe the old server could not bear such "events". Maybe the new one is better and now they will make some more special events like this.

If just killing a bunch of monsters is what you call fun then I believe I am in the wrong place. But I have already heard of these background stories Lennier talks about and maybe it COULD be fun if they didnt just happen seemingly in a random way.

i felt when i heard the whispering from the woods i was filled with exitement

but i really home they do bring about Gm quests and background stories

I always miss such events... i hope we have more and then maybe i could see one finally.
Iagree with kalypse the rp element is very important though

these attacks bring alot of a rp element with them its not just killing during the attacks it made a good rp as i took the role of a ranger trying to save the town and protect the people which is relevant to my characters storyline as he has applied to be a ranger. it also made people join together in large group people who usually just mine silently rped tryin to help as much as they can.

but i would like them to have structure and not be random it would make them much better and alot more relevent to the goings on around the place.
