Since not everyone has mIRC, I recommend using something like mibbit

Change the drop down thing next to IRC to "QuakeNET", then choose a nickname and put the channel as #illarion

Or just have a look at the news or if you don't wanna read have a really close look at the homepage and find the difference

Or just put a link to the chat.
