I know I am asking alot in this proposal and may be hard if not impossible to implement, but When i am on rping early in my morning or in my evening there are alot of German Rp's in there so much so that alot of the time I just have to go about aimlessly when people are trying to rp with me and I do not know the language. Is there a translator in the world or possible future translation in site to where we in the Americas may rp with our German counterparts.? If not how hard would such an item be to implement?

I can guarantee you that there will never ever be a automatic translator be implemented into the client.
Something that not even the allmighty Lord of the Internet (Google) managed, will never be achived by a small 5 man developer show.
People I know either use the above mentioned Google language tools,
Beolingus or
Leo.
But keep in mind that the both, Beolinugs and Leo, are community created dictionaries and might not be accurate all the time.

Amen!
This is a common problem within Illa ... and it's a problem, which lasts on both sides.
For me, as a native german, it's quite diffcult to do good rp in english ... mostly I simply don't have the words to #me as I would do it in german. Well, I'll try my very best ... but for this, it's necessary to have more then the basics in the other language.
I always open an internet-dictionary
http://www.leo.org in my browser ...
What the heck is "chuckle" in german? Ask Leo ...
How do I write "böse grinsen" in english? Ask Leo ...
an "inline translator" is nearly impossible ... but it may be funny.

I think with a translator-includet, we loose a loot of feeling. because the translation would be horrible. looking (

hmm i myself have attempted for rp sake to learn German so i dont have to force German speaking players to English
im trying to learn out of game and rp learning ig so
I was thinking how about making ig books with simple translations?
of words and basic phrases
this of course, would not solve the problem 100% but make it a little easier for people to talk to each other.

Something like rune books or similar?

Yes something like that you could have basic phrases set up so you can talk quickly or have a quick reference to talk to others
or perhaps books in the library people would actually have to read
and study .
of course as i said you cant throw an entire dictionary into one book but
i see two things more books in the library and rping people having to Learn a second language .

Just to summarise:
There is the German race and the other race.. of the rest of the world. To understand the German race's gibberish, just use an online translator.
Wow, if a German politician spoke of the "German race", he would lose his job

I know you can copy and paste something to put on screen, but don't think there is any way to do the same with something onscreen except to quickly hunt up your log but even that presents difficulty in closing it out to get the next sentence. Copy and paste from onscreen would allow easy translation in an online place of choice even though some don't translate correctly, though may be impossible to do.

On a serious I do feel somewhat disappointed when I stumble across a group of German speaking players. I wonder how many excellent role playing opportunities I have missed due to my lack of knowledge of the Germanic language. However I will try to use an online translator and see how that goes.

I only made the statement of gibberish ot enphasize. the lack of abilty to be able to reply to roleplay going on I mean when your looking and the words look like this "hfrgiof plfjgiuudfpmd naopf" I call it gibberish for a lack of a more elequant, sophisticated, or politically correct term.

Uh.. sorry to tell you guys, but German is a race.
Just because you don't have a different skin colour doesn't make you not a race. The French are a race, the Spanish are a race, the English are a race, technically, the word "race" doesn't just mean "has some sort of huge distinguishing genetic difference".

I suggest we leave this topic for what it is before people get banned for making "Wrong" statements..
