Urmel Grabowski pins a piece of paper on the tavern board and walks away.
Greetings townspeople,
Loki Feuerhaaar and I invented a nice game called "Mega Harvest" (suggested by Brendan Mason) and he asked me to post the rules on the tavern board so everyone could play it.
So here it is:
The basics of the game are that two teams try to harvest the opponent teams' grain and carry it to a certain place(a single place away from the teams' grain). The team that manages to do this first, has won. There must be at least one place with grown grain for each team.Every one,or at least the one who tries to capture the grain, will need a scythe(a blunt one so you wont hurt somebody!) to harvest the grain. The game should be played in a wide are and especially not in town.
Here are some additional rules:
-No object must be in the grain except the player himself.
-The scythes must be blunt.
-Only shoving(and not violent!) is allowed,no attacking or casting!
-The teams should be even.
-Harvesting one's own grain is forbidden.
Comments would be appreciated.

Hey, this is just a knock off of my King of the Grain game
But oh well, I don't have time to play that game anyways.
I'd sue but our town doesn't even have a court

Ezo, if yer still up for it, you and I coudl be the Hobbit team.
Other races can decide on their own teams, and then we can arrange tournaments.

Sign me up the Halfling team. I think I'll be pretty good at this game.
Crosis grins and signs his name.

Teams:
Hobbit-Brendan Mason, Crosis Smallburrow
Human-Sevious Helios
Elf-Reda
There are still places open for the elf and human teams!
We still have no orc, lizard, dwarf teams.

Each team is similarily required to have a name, as the only complete team thus far the Hobbits, may submit a name.
I'll leave this decision up to you Crosis.

Come on humans! Let's get some more people, men or women, on the human team. We need to play to have some fun around here...it seems this drought is getting to some people's heads.

Sevious laughs a little and then pulls out a parchment and begins to write.
Half elf eh? I remember you telling me you were one. I say you should join the human team. Think about it. me and you together could win this game with ease! On another note you look like a human therefore you should join the human team. Well the decision is yours even though I may not have influenced you to do anything. Good choosing.
Sevious posts it to the wall and laughs to himself again and slowly walks away.

yes, it would look rather odd for me to be on the elvish team looking more like a human, the only elvish trait that you can see is my ears....hmmm i think i will join the human team then as long as you will have me haha

Everybody interested in Participating, I will demonstrate the rules if you can meet me in town someday. I plan on holding a tournament as soon as everybody has a graps of Urmel's rules, and as soon as all teams are formed.
Formed Teams-
Hobbit
Human

Brendan perhaps you should post up some times and dates that could be possible to play this game on. I probably can make most of them if I'm not sleeping. But it'll depend. I'm ready to play anytime. I cut back my work for awhile since I came back so I'm not going to be working all the time either. I'm sure we'll need a practice game too to get warmed up. Well I hope you do as I stated seeing that you're going to guide the game.
