Preist Magic!

It's that time again! Another hair brained suggestion from everyone's...well somebody's...okay just my own favorite PO! I was thinking late one night, which is unusual enough, but then something strange happened....I hatched an idea! How could preist magic be different then druid...different then regular mages even? Well I started to say, Druids use plants...mages use mana...but don't preists ask favors from the gods? Thusly it would be odd if a preist shot fire from his hands...like a mage. Or brewed potions like a druid. The solution I conceived. A preist only gets a certain number of favors from the gods, the higher his skill the more favors he could have for a set amount of time. And I figured it could go by the in game calendar. A favor regained every day or so. As for the favors a preist can use, I also thought those should be different as well, Let's have you wonderous fellows help flesh out this bare bones idea.

Don't think about that, really

Best thing is to wait. I wonder that you didn't learn that yet :P

so your idea jupiter is to instead never say anythgin at all in the proposals and just wait for the dev's and only the dev's to think of good ideas

i'm sorry i prfer to be vocal about ideas and if the dev's like them then they might decide to use them

personally i think priest magic should focused more around what we call suport magics and have mages focused around utility and combat magics

have the priets be the ones curing and healing. maybe even have it so if somebody is clouded and a priest is at the cross to preform the restoration then no skill is lost

i can think of deozens of useful RP ideas that woudl spring from one smaller idea

Umm.. somehow I THINK the developers MIGHT have realised that there's no priest and bard system by now, Olive; I don't think they need a thread to remind them. They're busy with the druid system anyway.
