I need a priest for the funeral of Oliver Fox. One who is close to Adron would be nice, but not a requirement. The main thing is that this man finally gets laid to rest...He has waited too long all ready. The funeral is planned for two dwarven days from now ((wed. 4:30pm CST...can be flexible))

Greetings Lady Doral,

As an Abbot of the Eldan Monastery, I shall lend my services unto you for this funeral. Though, I had little affiliation with Oliver during his life on this isle I know that he lived a honorable life and died in a even more honorable death. Please send me a dove when you need me.

Signed,
Sir Julius Rothman

Buying a building even a monastry together with a title does not make one a priest.

I don't see how the "warrior of Malachins grace" could possibly become a priest of Eldan, nor when he would have focused on the teachings of Eldan if he's always seen improving his swordplay.

You have been notified miss Doral, an offer to give this man real rest.

Let's have a wake in his honor!

I'll bring the Beer, some apple pies, if you'll bring the music and Body!

I think Oliver would have liked some laughter and merriment! He wrote such good Poems and stories for us, he was a man of real talent.

I am no priest, only a simple bard. However, I was lucky enough to meet Oliver when he still lived, him and his daughter.
He presented me with the lute I am carrying, and I would be honoured if I was allowed to play it at his funeral, to show him and the gods how we all will miss him.

Let me start by thanking all of you for your offers of help.
Chester, your idea is a fine one and Oliver I'm sure is pleased by it. I can think of no better way to send him on to the next realm. So, Alan, you and your musical talent will be most welcome.
Ceilianus, I'm sure any service you can provide will more than adequate. I hope you will attend.
Faladron and Julius, both of your offers are appreciated, and everyone will be allowed to speak if they so wish and anyone with wisdom and words that will help him find his way in the next life is welcome to do so.

I thank Joxia for her words and promise that this won't turn into a competition between Rotman and me, regardless of the challenge he spoke out on his last note, it shows a lack of taste to talk about who can "better" pray for someone deceased.

Greetings,

Thank for your input in the matter, Joxia. I think the idea of everyone having the chance to speak at a funeral allows people to get things off there chest. As for the "competition" Faladron says I seek with him. He should know all well and true that I would never compete with a man that is so much farther below me as him. I always thought competition was supposed to be an actual challenge.

Thank you,

Dear Joxia, I am a servant of Eldan. Us Credii have a rite of death to perform , if you wish this to be done.

I am a monk, no priest so my abilities to the public are mostly charitable.

If you want more information, please ask.
