Finally he's out.

And if there's anything we've learnt from this experience, it's not to hire high knights from knighthoods who think they have any idea of how to run a town but really just know how to throw their weight around.

Jorokar, Those where all serious nominations. You are not allowed to chose who can, and who cannot be nominated for Governor. I demand you accept the nominations I have made. They all fall under the terms that you posted.

And in recent light of the demise and or dissappearance of Oliver and Olive Fox...She will no longer be running for governor.

Dear Trolls Bane,

I think the entire town of Trolls Bane is a bit tired out by the rule of the Knighthood of Gobaith. Now you may have remembered me making this same complaint last elections that resulted in a small outbreak and some vicious kidnappings. Do not think that this will be the result of my obligations to this elections for I think Ayla would do a fine job as the Governor.

However, before we allow Ayla in office, could we at least get a word from her on whom she would select for her offices? There are many other warriors then the ones in her Knighthood that are more capable and better with a sword of holding a position. With the outside forces gathering in an attempt to attack the town, I'd like to push my attention and support behind Thomas and Edward.

Edward will make a fine Governor and has the ability to not only lead the town, but to help defend it and make the decisions that will be best for the people. He has a open minded opinion on almost everything and won't put the town in jeopardy by playing favorites.

Thank you,
Sir Julius Rothman
Knight of Kallahorn

Without being a citizen of Trollsbane I can neither vote nor be placed as a Goveneur, but aside from that, I highly doubt that Edward would make a good goveneur, he had his chance allready and fleed with his tail between his legs as soon as his ~friends~ left the island, I would dislike the thougth of having someone in such a position, while is only strength is build upon his friends and not on himself, he had the chance to proof himself and failed or do you like a leadless trollsbane, when forces knock on your door, while your leader hides under his bed in greenbriar?

Edward had his chance and proved to be incapable of running the town. Thomas is a no one who hides under the name of Rothman. Mercenaries claiming to be nobles, or so the legend goes.

The governor is the mind, not the sword of Trolls Bane. Choose wisely and do not complain afterwards.

I thank you for having enough faith and courage to say that
I would do fine in such a job, Julius, it's surprising to hear such words
from you.

In regarding to the town being 'tired' of a Knight holding leadership to
Troll's Bane, I fully understand. This last Governing choice was a flaw of
decision amongst many of us, and I feel ashamed to see one of our
Order so blatantly abandon this town as Jorokar has. He has disappointed
us all, without doubt. However, it is his mistake that has me willing to
accept Dantagon's and Evan's nominations to begin with. I feel the need
to clean up the man's mistakes, correct his neglect and show that not all
of the Knighthood I follow are ignorant fools.

I will not make a whole announcement of what I will do for the good of
Troll's Bane here, however. Before you 'allow' me in office, I would
actually hope for the voting body to know me personally, as I feel it wiser
to know a leader by person, not by promising words. As for a word on
whom I would select, I openly admit that I have yet to decide. But of
course, these are just nominations. I have time yet to make a wise
decision, aye?

You speak a truth in your words, Julius. I may not be the strongest of
blade when it comes to defending the town, but I am very well aware of
whose strength I can rely on should I need to. I prefer rational and
thorough thinking to guide a leader, not strength of sword and arm. Many
are probably aware of that by now.

However, despite my justifying words and open admittance, all in all it
comes to one thing. I will not try and force the voting body to my side. If
you know me and trust me, very well. If not, take a chance and decide.
One man's opinion does not always change the world.

The town has lost Konrad, Behemoth, Jorokar, Drethek, and the rest of there allies that repealed my attacks. Whose power are you to rely on in your time in need? A governor should be able to rely on his or own power to lead the town. Are you openly supporting my idea of you being too weak to lead?

Altrix defending the town? Mark? Ayla, if the group is to attack, you will be overran. Do what is best for Trolls Bane. Drop out of the elections.

Signed,
Sir Julius Rothman
Knight of Kallahorn

I shall openly state that there will be no harm done by my blade or any man affiliated to this election because of there preferences. However, those blades will only be used to protect it if the listed people are elected.

I will not lie to the face of the people and make myself look
like an unbeatable demi-god, Julius. Many who lead see this as
necessary, for they believe the Sword is all that makes the Leader. This
is not true, as it takes more wit than moves to truely make any
difference.

As well, do not underestimate me simply because that group has left or
been removed. I am not empty of help just yet, kind sir.

Julius, Everyone knows your the only one on the island who is stupid enough to try to invade Trollsbane. And as for who we would rely on if we where attacked, We rely on the same friends who helped us push back your last invasion. Friends such as Goldburg, Silverbrand, The Gray Order, Caelum, and many other. You see, Unlike your pathetic Knighthood, Trollsbane is able to have friends.

Enemies of enemies do not necessarily make them friends of yours but yes,
due to the dubious fame the name Rothman has already accumulated upon this island, any situation is better than having a Rothman in charge in a place with actual activity and people living in it.

That's what makes the island regularly side with each other,
not so much friendship but necessity and reasonability.

People who are not (for whatever reasons anyway) citizens of Trollsbane or have not been accepted as citizens (for what reason ever), should refrain from littering this announcement with their words from now on.

Faladron Furnir

Ps: I very well know that my last sentence includes myself, I do not need an anonymous write to point that out for me, thank you, but if it tickles your fancy feel free to wittily try to bash my words under the cloak of writing an unsigned parchment.

Dear governour,

I would like to advice you to limit the number of nominations on people, who signed their name theirself at this paper - That they want to be elected. It does not help that serval people get nominated witout an own statement of them.

Furthermore it is interesting for me that some persons stay at nearly all nomination lists of the younger past. And interesting how much of them ready were governours or kings. And much more interesting is, how long the periods of ruling the town are. I get the feeling the time of nomination and election is longer than the time of the lected one to rule this town. I am happy to be freed of that chaos...

All parties of this endless conflict should find a agreement to rule this town after a defined period of time, like one or two years.
