my character description (when you left click my character) says I am very old... but im an elf, so arent i supposed to be the age I am? im somewhere around 1000 which i was told is early 20's human years.

So is this a bug or did I goof bigTime.

This is all new since when i last played =3 so I have no cle

Alot of the values (age, weight and height) seem to be handled in a uni-racial manner and have yet to be seperated into there various rascial standards.

Not sure when anything will be done about that problem however.

Edit: Also i noticed im extremely skinny... 89 pounds... is that another bug? because i didn't get an option to change my weight during character creation.

Who told you 1000 Years would be early twentys?
That is certaitnly wrong, normally elves are adults as soon as they hit 170, so I would say aroudn 200 years would be around 20 human years

just ask one of the gm's ( i asked nitram, go figure the dude is so awesome he does everything) to let you reset the values. i had to do that when i got told my one character was fat. (which he shouldn't have been)

The age stuff for elves is indeed wrong. It was intended to show nothing that indicates the age when the Elf is older then 170 years. Since its not really possible to say how old a elf is.

But sadly this went slightly wrong so a elf is very old as soon as he is older then 170 years. I will fix this sooner or later.

At what age is a dwarf considered old?

Hrar is 120 years old. I think 120 years for a dwarf is like 40 or 45 for a human. Is this right?

My problem is similiar to Alae's but in my case it applies to my size. My dwarf character was my first character so I wasn't very familiar with common sizes. Now I'm 1,02m and absolutely tiny compaired to other brothers and sisters.
Because I didn't intent to play a child or midget I would very appreciated if I could change my characterinformations once again.

I always use the method: If you want the Elf equivalent of a Human age, times it by 10.

thats absolutly invalid.

A elf in the age of 1000 is not that old. A human with the age of 100 is already out of the upper range.

If something is done against every elf being shown as "very old" please also consider handling the weight of halflings / dwarves (?) differently.

They are not "fat" there are other words one could use. "rundlich" "wohlgenährt" "pummelig" < to give some german examples that are more pleasing to the ear than "fett", which is quite insultive.

How about we use: "X has a low surface area to volume ratio" or "X's body mass index exceeds thirty".

How about: "X is very large. A few small rocks orbit around this mass of lard."

On topic: I think that dwarves would be 'big-boned' before fat. And halflings would be fat, then plump.

Yeah perhaps have individual "scales" for different races with different, race fitting descriptions.
