Recent changes of the website are very useful. Great job to the guy who did that.

The screenshot in particular adds something special to the website.


My proposal for further improvement:
Put a direct link in the the status bubble on the top right corner. By doing so players make one click less to start the game.

Well, the problem might be that new players still have to make an account before they can play. They might would wonder then how to get started. Anyway, I think it might be an idea which is worth to think about in order to make the website more smooth.

I'm going to take the chance on this thread to say this:

- What is the reason for the 'Items' section on the page? It shows the rarest of items, and I think that can be a little of a fun-ruiner to newer players.

Otherwise, yeah good work, the home page looks livelier

How would it ruin fun? If I was a newb, I'd think "Awww cool, look at those awesome looking items I hope I get some of them someday."

There should at least be something like "this is only a selection of about 20% the items in the game" or people might think that's all.

Well, if it's just me, then it's alright.

I would find it quite fun to see new graphic items that I had never seen before. I was amazed by some items that I had never seen before.

Though by "I would", I meant if I was new to the game. Anyway, no more off topic.

The screenshots may be nice, so far I have been unable to see them.

I know a max FILE size of char pics on the web page is posted, but what is the max pic size? Particularly with the new page, the char pics sometimes are distorted/not shown in their entirety.

A small note is needed to explain that this is just a selection if items.
And I also think that some of the very rare items should be replaced by more common ones. I like the "omg a new graphic feeling" IG as well

I can't really say what goes wrong there for you.
IE7, Firefox 3 and Opera 9.5 show it correctly.

I will check tomorrow if its a general IE6 problem or not.

By the way the item page is there for around 4 months.

I use IE7 and I have to open a new tab to get the pictures to show.

This new Mainpage is awesome... like it very much. Good job guys

The effect with the small picture seems to be caused by something different.

I have no problems at all getting a full sized picture with IE6 and IE7 on Windows XP and Windows Vista.

Kadiya found a bugfix for the small box problem with the pages. Everything should work in the way it has to now.

worked until today then can't get char pics again. When clicked the box moves to the far left and disappears with me though others say they work fine.... *shrugs*

Seems a problem with the character encoding within the browser (or maybe a missing hint in the page code what encoding to use?).

If I change the encoding in Opera a bit (usually to western-european) or sometimes just "automatic", it works.

I'm reworking the pages one by one.

The problems should now be solved more or less.

Some character profiles still have the problem that they show the characters incorrectly. In case that happens to you, you have to go into the account system and fix it in your character description page.
