How does being half elf ,half human affect ones lifespan?

Humans live up to ~80-90 years old.

Elves live up to ~2-3000 years old.

I guess half elves are inbetween? o.O

As far as I know the concept was grandfathered into the game but no new half/anything was allowed since. I assume that is still the case, but am unsure.

I already know of at least 4 half-elves in game.. :/

This has been discussed many times over the years. Most of the time people say that humans and elves are different races and therefore should not be able to breed any easier than a dwarf and fish. I am actually rather surprised about the information in the wiki. I know that some gms have expressed distaste for half-breed characters. Also, I don't know where the information of elves only living for 3000 years came from. I know some elves play living longer than such. Much longer in some cases.

Is not right, in Illa Humans live to 80 years and Elves to 6000 years....

Does it matter THAT much...?

It's because Damien posted a thread saying halfelves weren't allowed, so I spoke to Thorvald about it, who talked to Damien about it and came to some kind of agreement, which is the exact thing written in the wiki.
