For years the Illarion E.v. has constantly been seeking means to differentiate Illarion from other role playing games in the market, in order to provide and improve the unique Illarion-feeling. The update is a major, once-in-a-lifetime one: It will be made in order to replace the current inventory-picture with a naked picture of Nitram for enhanced realism and improved extreme, even hardcore aspect of the game!

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience, but I am sure you all realize how amazing, unique and important the new feature will be!

what are we ACTUALLY going to see in this update? (ignoring Mr. Cromwells.... interesting description)

character size will be visible and a lookAt function for characters. So do not run naked through the streets any more

But I don't know what else is implemented. Someone will post a more detailed changelog probably.

And I can't play Illarion the next week..

I won't be able to play till late tommorrow if things go well.
In any case, I am betting we get some mules involved here, and some boats. Perhaps it would be a bit over optomistic to hope for the druid system though.

Is this going to involve any kind of patching?

The client will perform a full update, if you mean this. So you need to download the full 32MB.

Furthermore along with this update, the first time in Illarion history the values of age, weight and height take effect.
I'm aware of the fact that many characters have invalid values at this. In case anymore wants to change this values, feel free to send me a pm with the Name of the character you want me to enable the possibility to change you attributes. You are able to do this then in the account system.

I recommend this for everyone who has invalid values there. Since this leads to really strange effects and personal character descriptions.

Außerdem wird dieses Update zur Folge haben das zum ersten Mal in der Geschichte Illarions die Werte Alter, Größe und Gewicht einen Effekt haben.
Mir ist klar das viele Charaktere dort falsche Werte stehen haben. Wenn jemand diese Werte für seinen Charakter ändern will, soll mir derjenige eine PM mit dem Namen des Charakters schicken, damit ich ihm die Möglichkeit geben kann diese Werte nocheinmal zu setzen. Das wird dann im Account System erledigt.

Ich empfehle jedem der falsche Werte dort stehen hat dies zu tun. Alles andere kann zu seltsamen Effekten und Charakterbeschreibungen führen.

so what are the effects of age, weight and height? on a character. just a general description like, a heavy character would move slower and be easier to hit where a skinny person would be able to move faster and harder to hit. and what would age and size be?

just the description and the size of the char graphic on the screen.

an old character gets most likely a lookAt like "He looks old". And a small but heavy char gets most likely a lookAt like "He's fat"... size is the actual char size displayed. Look at my screenshot above.....

Anyways back to topic before I get in trouble for all the spamming I just did. I think this update is not the most useful *coughs* druid magic *coughs* It is still very exciting and will make the game that much more fun. Good job to all involved. *claps heartily*

Das klingt ja ganz gut aber wie ist das mit dem Altern, Wachstum und Gewichtszunahme/abnahme?
Munalunder kannst du dann bitte auch gleich auf die Liste setzten.
