Key trouble

When I was using my key at Goldburg I went through the door unlocking it as I went but when I got to the other side I could'nt lock it.. the key did'nt fit

Make sure that the door is closed, and if it is try to reopen it. Close it, hold shift click your key, then the door, release shift. It should lock.

Tried all that before and it still does'nt work...

Only your key does not work?
Other members of Goldburg have problems too?
In case 1 you have a outdated key and you can throw it away. Your chief can give you new ones (as long as he has)
In case 2 it would be still a problem with the script values, that they were not saved right. That would be my problem. But without to have your key in my hands i can not say what the real problem is.

i came across the door open earlier, i locked the door fine.

No other members of Goldburg have had this problem. All keys given out are the same and accounted for.

I have had a key work like that.... click key and door Key didn't work, try right click then pick "use with" then click door...that worked with the same key.
